Safety Assured.
This safety device is very reassuring for both the person who uses it and those who are concerned for the well-being of an elderly, disabled or ill person. You get a receiver, a call button with a lanyard, a pull cord button (I hung mine in the shower room) and an SOS watch. The set is good value for the peace of mind it gives. The connection to WiFi is ready to use. You can choose from 16 ringtones and the brightness of the backlit display, which shows the time and date, is adjustable. The units are waterproof and the watch is comfortable enough for all-day wear. I'm pleased to have this pager; it allows me independence and gives me a safety net. I know that if I tumble on the stairs or slip in the shower, I can have help at the press of a button.

Inexpensive emergency alarm system
This is an inexpensive way to enable an emergency alert system for an elderly or disabled person, or indeed anyone who wants to summon fast assistance. In the box you get the base unit which receives an alert and displays system settings, an emergency push button and a watch-styled emergency button that, kept on the wrist, can be accessed at all times. You also get batteries and an instruction book - which is pretty awful - and a downloadable app.Setup is fairly straightforward, but that is in spite of the instructions rather than because of them! And the system seems to work quite well. When an alert is detected - with either of the two emergency buttons are pressed - the base unit sounds an alert and the app also receives an alarm message. Whilst the base unit alarm is useful for others in the house to be informed of an emergency, anyone registered with the app will also receive an alert no matter where they are in the world. The service offered seems to replicate much of the functionality of a standard emergency alert system but at a fraction of the cost. It is not possible to speak directly with a medical professional following an alert, but the system will inform relatives of an emergency.Overall, at only £40 at time of review, this is certainly a product worth trying instead of the more expensive alert system. I solid four-star product.

Reliable Alert System for Families
The package includes a receiver, a call button, a wristwatch with a call function, and instructions. The receiver connects to WiFi but only on 2.4GHz, while the wristwatch can be worn on the wrist, and the call button can be worn around the neck or mounted on a wall. You’ll need to download the dedicated app on your smartphone, which sends an instant notification when the alarm is triggered. There’s also the option to receive an SMS or call, though these require a subscription.Installation is quick and straightforward, and the system is easy to use. It’s ideal for those with elderly parents or relatives living in different areas or cities. The app can be installed on multiple smartphones using the "share" function, ensuring all linked devices receive the same alert—allowing for a faster, more coordinated response.Overall, brilliant value for money.

Works perfectly but let down by a poor manual and very unattractive alarm fobs
Do not despair if, working your way through the installation booklet, you fear things are going wrong. Some of the steps and some of the settings didn't seem to be present - but they must have been. It now all works! In the box there is a watch style call button, a pendant type call button which can also be fixed somewhere using an adhesive pad. There is also what is called the pager unit. It is the heart of the system. It includes a USB charger and cable needed for power. The call buttons cause an alarm in the pager which sounds a loud beeping noise. Simultaneously the pager communicates via WiFi to my router and then into the wider world. The alert then activates the app on my phone.I am not quite sure how the alarm reaches my phone, but I now have both Bluetooth and WiFi disabled and it still happens. It must be the app communicating with HQ. There is a subscription alerting service available but I am not sure why I would sign up for it.I am delighted with this SOS pager but have a couple of observations. First, both the watch and the fob buttons look rather cheap. Trying to persuade Granny to wear or use either would be much easier if they looked smarter. The watch might look like a shiny bracelet rather than a rectangle of white rubber. The fob could be similarly styled, looking more like an broach than an overgrown pimple. My other observation concerns the manual. It presupposes a certain familiarity with phone apps and especially the home automation app the pager communicates with. At one stage I was going to consign everything to its box in despair and then, quite by chance, I discovered I had successfully installed an Alert device. All is now successfully working but I've deducted a star for a poor manual and the terrible lack of style in the buttons.

Peace of Mind for My Mum Living on her own
I recently bought this for my mum who is living on her own, and it has been a game-changer for both of us. Living alone, she now has an added layer of security with this device. The setup was straightforward: connecting the receiver to our 2.4G WiFi network and placing the two call buttons in accessible areas. Now, with a simple press of a button, she can alert me instantly, no matter where I am, thanks to the real-time notifications on my smartphone. I get the notification within seconds. She is reluctant to carry her mobile phone all the time, so she left it unattended somewhere in the house, and in an emergency, I was worried that she could not reach her phone. But she can carry the small SOS button without any worry. The waterproof design of the call buttons means she can even keep one in the bathroom, a common area for slips, without any worries. Additionally, the system allows for multiple users, so other family members can also receive alerts, ensuring someone is always available to assist her. This pager has truly enhanced our peace of mind, knowing that help is just a button press away for my mum. It's a must-have for anyone with loved ones living on their own.
