Tramontina Professional 14-Inch Non Stick Extra Large Frying Pan, Heavy-Gauge Aluminum Skillet with Reinforced Nonstick Coating, Red Handle, Dishwasher and Oven Safe

I absolutely love this pan. This is my 3rd Tramontina 14" Pan. I bought it in the past at Costco. Since they no longer carry it I was afraid I wouldn't be able to buy one again but thankfully Amazon came through! This pan is so well made, huge cooking surface and easy to clean. Heat stays even all over the pan. I love the red handle, too. They last incredibly long before some of the non-stick surface wears off. I bought this one for a second home we have since I literally use my other one several times a week. The only con is that there isn't any lid that fits this. Even trying to use a lid from my other set doesn't work as it's so big but if that's it's only con, I'll happily live with it!

I'm very much of the camp that thinks there are better kitchen investments than spending much on non-stick cookware. This pan is far from the high end of the non-stick pan cost spectrum, but it is very good quality IMO. If you treat it right, it seems like it should last quite a long time (by non-stick standards). Its non-stickiness has been superb. It has required ZERO scrubbing (i.e., a sponge or paper towel are all that's needed - not even the non-scratch abrasive side of a typical dish sponge has been required). The aluminum is also impressive. It's one of the heaviest non-stick pans I've ever used (which is fine with me - feels well balanced and the heat distribution is as good as you could expect from aluminum). The handle is rock solid, the rivets are spot on, the extra handle length is appreciated and the silicone cover on the end of the handle is a great touch. I was so (surprisingly) impressed by this 10in pan that I swapped out my old T-fal 12in for this brand's 12in not long after.

Our old frying pan was all scratched up after 5 years and we needed a new one. This one is a home run. Lovely finish and does wonders on any eggs. They just slide right out and clean up is a breeze. It does NOT come with a lid but with proper care, I expect it to last just as long as our old one that we retired to the trash. Tramontina, made in Brazil, makes excellent cookware. Thanks, Amazon, for stocking this and saving us cash on more expensive ones! :)

I had a Tramontina pan that was at least 25 years old. It held up extremely well, but the non-stick coating was beginning to show a multitude of little holes. I purchased this new pan because I admired the brand and the fact that they still produce some of their products in the USA. Make sure to review the descriptions carefully, most of their stuff is now imported. This pan is made in the USA. What I like the most is that the quality has gone UP, not down, over the years. I weighed this pan and the old one, and this new one is 102 grams heavier. The metal is noticeably thicker, and given that the old pan never warped or dented, it seems likely that the extra weight is there just for better heating. I especially like the "rivet-less" handle design. The handle is still held on by rivets (more secure than spot welds IMO), but they are rivets formed integrally from the pan metal itself, so there are no rivet heads inside the pan. This really makes clean-up quicker and you don't have to think about minute bits of rotting food being stuck in there. I believe the non-stick coating is thicker, but also softer, than the previous version. One reviewer noted that cooking a chop with bone in it left gouging in the non-stick. I would say this is a definite risk. But for everything else, the coating is fantastic. I've been using this frequently for two months and it looks pristine. A quick sponge and detergent, no pressure or scrubbing needed, and dry it off. Bingo! The images include side by sides to show the added thickness, and also the rivetless design. UPDATE: It's been 10 months and I'm still very happy with the pan. I use it roughly every other day, and the surface is completely intact except for a multitude of very fine superficial scratches. If the light hits it one way these scratches are invisible. If the light hits the other way you can see them quite readily. I cannot feel the scratches when I run my fingers over the surface. I never cook anything with a bone in it, but I use a lot of freshly ground black pepper and silicone utensils. The non-stick quality of the pan does not seem diminished in the least

GREAT! Truly non stick with very small amount of either butter or oil. Eggs slide! Wonderful crusting. Heats uniformly around the pan. EASY clean up, hot water, wipe with soapy song! I am thrilled with HEXCLAD

Great proposition for the cost! Pan heats evenly, its weight works great for my mom who has pretty bad arthritis in her fingers. Overall, the finish and quality look great; no blemishes and frying items didn't cook unevenly on a gas range. Certain minimizes the oil use with many of the dishes we've cooked.

Perfect for a 3-egg omelet. All non-stick pans are designed to be replaced every 3-5 years, so this is a nice balance between cost and quality. Handle never gets hot, and cleaning is easy since food only ever gets stuck to the rivets. I've been using it for breakfast almost every morning for the last 4 months and you'd only know it wasn't new because my stove scratched up the bottom a little bit, normal wear n tear.

The non stick coating is nothing I have ever used before nothing sticks!! Easy clean up great PAN!!

I use it everyday and it performs great

In the past year I bought 3 pans. The first two sucked. The whole idea of a non-stick pan without bad chemicals just didn't seem to work. After sticking my last non-stick pan in the trash can still full of food stuck to it I decided to do some research. The reviews were right. This one is excellent. You don't need oil, it cooks evenly, it's big, and super easy to clean.
