Due to a pulled muscle, my husband started using this salve as soon as it arrived. Within a day his pain was significantly lessened. It's been a great product so far -- nice fragrance, absorbs well, and all natural. We would definitely purchase it again.

(First I want to say that this is my personal experience and I’m not a doctor. I’m making no claims that this will treat or heal anyone else so your mileage may vary.) I’ve used other comfrey products in the past and while they helped a little, this salve is hands down the best. Finding a trustworthy maker of consistently strong and safe topicals can be hard and often an expensive trial and error. I recently got hurt and I was reluctant to buy yet another product but this one is absolutely hands down the best! Not only is it the most effective salve I’ve used but the price is almost too good to be true. It comes in a nice (reusable) screw top tin so there isn’t any wasted like some that come in a single use plastic tube. Oh and the smell is soft and subtle like a spa without any funk or chemically undertones. Another reason I love this brand is that it never gives me an allergic reaction. I have severely sensitive skin so bad that almost anything with “fragrance” as an ingredient gives me chemical burns, but I can use this all day, every day with the only side effect being softer skin. It has significantly reduced the swelling and eased the pain, making my recovery much more manageable. I apply it twice a day and I can’t tell you how soothing it is when I apply it and use my heat pad. The heat helps it absorb deeper and activates the lavender/mint smell. It’s super easy to apply and has a pleasant texture that doesn’t leave me feeling greasy or sticky. I highly recommend this! It truly made a big difference for me! *Pros: Easy to use, smells nice, and absorbs fast without leaving any grease or oily feel. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and extra points for coming in a reusable tin instead of plastic! Most importantly: it actually works! *Cons: I wish it came in a larger tin or had an option for different sizes I'll definitely be a customer for life! It’s actually time to order another one!

Edit 04/04/2025: This product is so fantastic that my knee problems have stopped COMPLETELY. I haven't had to use this since my original review! My sister really hurt her shoulder. She walked around in pain, and minimal movement for about 6 months. It never fully healed. She didn't mention it to me for the full 6 months because she thought it would get better. When she finally told me, I told her to try this salve. She did and within 2 months, using it alongside a heating pad, and her shoulder is FULLY healed! She said her pain is gone and she has full function of her shoulder! This stuff is incredible. She now uses this for all kinds of aches and pains. lol Original review: I suffer with osteoarthritis in my right knee and, with this horrid humidity, it's been so swollen and painful I could barely walk. Needed assistance to stand up and sit down!! My knee kept buckling and it was so tender to the touch. I couldn't even lift my leg up in any fashion without the pain driving me to tears. I recently came across a video by Barabara O'neill who said if you have painful joints, try Comfrey. I won't lie, while I am a huge believer in herbal remedies, I was extremely skeptical because #1, you don't take this internally... it's an external salve. #2. I've been to many doctors and none of them have ever mentioned this as a remedy. Doctors were telling me I'd need knee surgery and/or knee injections just to help with the pain. I'd never even heard of Comfrey before Barbara O'neills video, but I figured what is there to lose? Let's try it out. Well! It's been 3 days since I started using the salve. I rub a healthy amount on my right knee after my shower in the morning. Then, I put a heating pad on it for about an hour. I then will rub another healthy amount on my knee before bed. After the first day, I felt about 50% less pain in this knee! I was thinking, am I making this up because I want it to work so badly? Then by day 2, I could lift my left with minimal pain. Today is day 3 and while I still have a little swelling, my knee is almost completely without pain!!! I can stand and sit without assistance, I can walk without feeling my knee will buckle. I am in absolute awe!!! I'm sitting here now, with a nice amount spread on my knee and my heating pad placed on my knee. I cannot express how thankful I am that I came across Barbara's video.... I want to add that I was nervous to find a genuine brand that really worked. So often, these companies promise one thing and it's just GMO crap fillers in their supplements/tinctures. But this WORKS. I now trust this brand and will absolutely purchase again. Yes, the tin is smaller than you think, but the salve is so thick that even when you slather it on generously, there is plenty left in the tin for many more uses. If you struggle with joint pain, try this out. Put it on in the morning and at night and use a heating pad at least one of those times while you have it on. Lather it on generously and massage into your affected joint for about 3 minutes before placing your heating pad on. I hope it works for you like it worked for me!!!!!!

Love the Comfrey Salve. I use it on my hands every day. My hand really get dry this time of the year. I haven’t had this problem since I started using Comfrey Salve. No hang nails either.

This balm is very good. It has comfrey which helps with pain and is good for repair. It has magnesium which helps with relaxation rest and absorption. This is an all natural product and doesn't stain or smell bad. It smells very nice.. it has wintergreen in it but doesn't feel or smell like menthol. I highly recommend this product!

Works well. Because it is a natural approach to muscular pain, it does take longer. It's not an instant fix. I would recommend this product

product was delivered quickly and in nice packaging. Inside the product looks and smells very pleasant. I started using it on a sore foot. Time will tell:)
