Nice idea, but not quite there yet.
Let's start by saying, it doesn't totally suck...I'm not the world's greatest audiophile, but I do use a DAC and i use Shure SE535 IEMs ... so yeah, I do enjoy my sound quality. This Basslet is, unfortunately, not good enough for what it promises. The website reviews, the interviews, and all the other marketing material make claims that you 'feel it in your body'. That is garbage. With that in mind, read on.You feel it in your wrist. The response is amazing, and the bass lines up perfectly with the beat... If you care to hold your wrist against your torso - like against your chest - then you 'feel it' a whole lot more. I must add, you cant use it at anything less than maximum vibration otherwise you feel nothing. So the ability to reduce the bass levels is pretty pointless as you won't get any value from lower settings IMHO.As a concept, its fantastic, that's why I think for innovation and delivery in such a small package, 3 stars is warranted. However, I would not recommend this to anyone sensible. If you have cash to burn, and you might find yourself on a train or bus where you could hold your wrist against your body, the experience is fairly enjoyable... but using it on the go, whilst walking, will yield little to nothing - and certainly not worth the money. One other note - the charging mechanism relies on two really flimsy magnets which, on my device, were iffy at best - had to fiddle with it to get good contact... which may have been a flaw on my unit, but still annoying anyway. For basslet v2.0 i would suggest a chest strap - now THAT would be superb!Hope this helped... I bought this on Amazon and returned it within a week. Nobody paid me to write this :)

It's OKAY but not amazing. I could only feel it on my wrist ...
It's OKAY but not amazing. I could only feel it on my wrist and it didn't do much for me. It is more interesting to put it elsewhere, in fact I found the best place was to put it on my head on the inside of my headphone strap that goes over my head - that made for a bass heavy feeling in my whole head, I think if they partnered with a headphone company to do that perhaps call it "bass-head" or something and it might be a great product.

I'm honest devastated
This is an amazing product. It's simplicity in design and light weight model, adding so much more depth to the music you listen too. Owned this product for just over two months and used in a wide range of music types as well as movies and gaming, I refused to listen to music with out it. Excellent for out an about commutes making music even more enjoyable. No lag or delay between the music beat and the module and hits the note perfectly, you can feel the different levels within the bass it's not just a flat vibration you'd expect from say your phone vibration when you get a call or a message. How ever, you can only get the full benefit of the basslet when the volume is turned right up, you can change it's levels but it still only really applies when the music volume is quite high. If you wanted to listen to something quietly as you'd expect the bass is very low and can almost be next to non depending on the music and volume. It would be nice if you could override that and still have the basslet "volume" up but your headphone volume down. And lastly. I am absolutely devastated I lost this, I was on a commute in London and in the space of about 5 metres going down some stairs and rounding a corner it was gone, checked all over the place but it was no where to be found. The strap it comes with is very week and doesn't take much for it to come loose, it's a nice design and fit, but the compression toggle just doesn't cut it, hense why this is 4 start and not 5.Being a pore student I've got a lot of saving to do before I can afford one again unfortunately, I'm so gutted I lost this. But will buy it again every time. It's a great product and an innovative little bit of kit, but it's got some things it could do with upgrading.Thanks.

Nice idea but...
I couldn't really feel the beat as described, more just a vibration on my arm. Returned in the end as it didn't live up to expectations.
