Solid antenna unit for local digital TV broadcasts
We have cable TV along with our Internet service, but there is one particular local digital channel that my wife loves that is not included with the cable channels. It is called TOON, and locally is on 25-3. The digital antenna that I tried to use was leftover from another project. It didn't provide a solid reception picture for that channel, so I started looking at more modern, more capable antennas and came across the Oyned AN-3040. It had great reviews on Amazon, and didn't cost a fortune, so I decided to give it a try. It was in stock at the local warehouse (having sold over 3000 units in the last month probably helped with that) and we received it the next morning. It came well packed in a solid, small cardboard box. The antenna appears solidly built, and is weather-sealed for indoor or outdoor use. Setting it up is trivial, as it has multiple mounting options, and the amplifier is easily attached and powered from a USB port on the large screen (65" Sony) flat panel TV. Standard coax for signal connection. Upon doing the channel scan, I discovered that it picked up several additional channels than the leftover one I had tried. After scanning, of course we went right to the TOON channel. The picture was bright and clear, and we waited with some concern that we would see pixellation. There was none, the picture was fantastic and has stayed that way, even through a fairly intense thunderstorm. I am very pleased with this unit, and if it continues to perform this well I would definitely recommend it. I live west of South Bend, Indiana, so we're not too far away from the local towers, but this antenna is pulling in some Chicago channels as well, which is pretty cool. I am thus far hard-pressed to find any faults with this unit. If I had to voice a concern, it would be that the antenna end of the coax cable is built-in on the unit. I understand why, it is to allow the unit to be sealed against the weather in the outdoors mode (we are using it indoors in a nearby window, there is a generous 35 feet of coax included and a barrel coupler in case you need to attach more). I do like to use shielded RG-6 cable for all of my coax, but the included cable seems to be performing just fine. Absolutely great picture quality, clarity, and brightness without any rebalancing for the signal. Based on the free standing performance, and the vast improvement over the previous antenna, I do recommend this unit highly for home use. We are happily watching the TOON channel and about 42 others. Full five stars with no reservation other than the integral cable on the antenna end.

Not all TV's are built the same...
I have two TV's one is a Samsung and the other is a Vizio... At first I tried and installed it in the Samsung TV, but to no avail, I tried everything to receive the signal and nothing came in as a signal into this Samsung TV. I was considering to return the item antenna, but I decided to try it in my Vizio TV installed in another room from the Samsung TV. It was a different experience totally in this other TV, it was a breeze installing it and receiving at minimum 14 digital local channels crispy clear pictures. When I get it installed permanently I will try to install it way higher maybe 15 feet higher from where I did the test-install at four feet from the ground up next to my balcony window. I expect a few more channels from that altitude instead. My first install in my Samsung TV was not the antenna that was bad, but the Samsung TV has some issues in searching for air signal digital channels that I had no idea of. So I'll be seeing my local channels in my bigger Vizio TV with this great 2025 TV Antenna. Awesome indeed! I fully recommend it without hesitation! Thank you for reading.

Great Reception for the Price, but Some Fine-Tuning Needed
I recently tried the 2025 TV Antenna with the signal booster, and it’s a pretty good option for anyone looking to cut the cord without breaking the bank. The 1200+ miles range is impressive, and I did notice a significant improvement in reception compared to my old antenna. I was able to pick up more channels, including some HD ones, which is great. The setup was straightforward, and I appreciate the 33ft long cable, which gave me plenty of flexibility to place the antenna in a spot with better reception. The signal booster really helped with clarity, and I could easily switch between 4K and 1080p channels without any issues. However, it’s not perfect. I had to do some fine-tuning to get the best reception, and even then, some channels come in a little spotty depending on where I place the antenna. Also, while the antenna works well with my smart TV, older TVs might need a bit of extra setup to get the full benefit of the signal.Overall, it’s a solid TV antenna for the price, especially if you’re looking for an affordable way to get HD channels. It might take a little trial and error to get the best signal, but once you find the right spot, it works great!

Didn't work for me, but great customer service
I bought this item a few months ago and am just writing a review after trying it for some time. I was only able to get four channels with this, so I contacted the seller as the return window has passed. Although I was not happy with the reception I got with it and it will not work for me, they were exceptional and provided me with a full refund in the form of an Amazon gift card, exactly as the advertisement stated. So although the item didn't work as stated (might be due to my location), I am still giving it 4 starts because the customer service was top notch.

A help to see the basics without paying more
I bought it because I was just tired of paying so much for TV and wanted at least to watch the local channels without spending more. I saw it had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. The first thing I liked is that it's super compact—not like those huge satellite dishes. You can stick this one behind the TV or on a window and it won’t be in the way.Setup was super easy. I just plugged it in, scanned for channels, and boom. I got a bunch of local ones—the usual news, old movies, and a few random shows. It’s not like you’re gonna get cable for free or anything, but for the basics, it works pretty well.I live in the city, so the signal comes in just fine. But if you’re in a really remote area or surrounded by mountains, it might not be as magical. For me, it did exactly what I needed: a simple way to watch free over-the-air channels without paying a monthly fee.
