I bought this mainly for allergies. It’s hard to tell if it will work for that as I’ve only had it for a week, but I do know it’s working to clean the air. I blew out a candle and the air quality went from good to bad real fast. Also very easy to use. I’m a big noise person, but even on the highest setting, it’s fairly loud but it’s more of a white noise and it helps cut out noises at night. I enjoy the fan type noise from it. I will update review in a couple weeks regarding if it helps my son’s allergies. The size seems to work in my bedroom and living room.

I really like this air purifier. It's easy to use, quiet and tells me what the air quality is in the room. Its light weight and easy to move. The filters look like they are 3 individual filters on line but in reality all are built into one cartridge and easy to change. I recommend this product

We’d talked about getting some of these for several years so, as the dogs are in and allergies are up, I bought two. One for the bedroom and one for the living room. Price was good, reviews were good and delivery was quick. The units are easy to set up. Just unwrap a few pieces (including the filter), plug in the cord and find a place to put it. That done I fired one up in the bedroom at bed time and let it run all night. The sound is minor white noise on the low setting, but is even softer on the “sleep” setting. I swear in the morning the room smelled fresh and clean, as though the window was open in spring. Very nice. The one in the living room is equally good of course. My wife fried some bacon and the unit’s auto sensor noted high particulate and kicked in to high gear. It worked really well and had the bacon smell gone (but I liked it) in about 15 minutes. Back in the bedroom I drilled a couple holes in dry wall to hang a curtain and the unit kicked up to high until the dust, which I couldn’t even see, was gone. Obviously the sensor works very well. I hope they hold up well!

I was pleasently surprised at how well this purifier works. I live in an environment that I have several different allergies to and on day one, I noticed a much better air qiality when used in my bedroom. I woke up the next morning without a stuffy nose or a scratchy throat. From an engineer standpoint, I was a little dissapointed to see that the air quality sensor is placed on the back of the unit where not much airflow passes through, which could possibly affect accuracy. On automatic mode, it stays relatively quiet though a little more noise is present at higher speeds. Easy to use, just plug it in and go. Its design and size are perfect for my room. I was very quick to clear the air. I'll most likely be purchasing another for the other rooms. Overall, its a great little unit for a nice price. Definitely equivlant to the more name brand units that cost 1K more, with just about the same features.

Absolutely love this air purifier. Perfect size. Love the fact that's it very quiet, even with fan on high. Easy to operate. My air quality feels better because my bedroom gets very dusty. Great price. Highly recommend

This hepa filter is a must. It works so well and I love the indicator on the front. I have mine on auto mode and I put one in the kitchen as someone else recommended and it works wonders. Anytime there’s any additional smoke etc it immediately kicks on and gets working. It’s very quiet and the filters last for a very long time. I will say it also keeps our home clear of odors. I’ve spent years covering the sent of dog with air fresheners and plug in until I learned how toxic they are. Now, with these in my home we never smell the pets any longer. It’s amazing. 🤩 would highly recommend! I ended up buying two of these and two small ones. But again, I prefer these with the indicators and auto mode!

Quality good perfect for a room and takes minimal space easy cleaning and very light.

So my household is a mini zoo. We have a dog, a cat and three rats and with a recent addition of a rescue cockatoo.. some other pets come and go when they need me.. so needless to say the air quality (especially the living room) is garbage. On top of that I have asthma and suffer terrible allergies. I needed something safe for the birdo most importantly, and exotic bird dust is no joke!! I received the package, removed the filter from the plastic and off it went. Within about two hours I noticed a HUGE difference. I stopped sneezing and could take a big deep breath! Usually I have ceiling fans and air conditioners running to make it bearable but this air purifier really did my house wonders in so little time !! I couldn’t afford the big name big dollar ones that are highly recommended so I landed on this one and after day one I am not disappointed. It is not noisy at all and is a good size. my living room is about 20x20 ft. If you need an air purifier and are limited by your budget I definitely suggest this one. I also see replacement filters are available for purchase which is a huge plus. (always check they are available before buying a purifier) So happy to breathe again and not have to worry about odors or my pets or about looking like the hunchback of notre dame with my puffy allergy face.

It is a very simple machine. Easy controls. No frills. I have a pet and very mild allergies to dander .. and my dog is a hypoallergenic dog too so it isn't too bad. This helps clean our the air in medium spaces. I find it an immediate help after leaving this on for 4 hours. Definitely less sneezing and itchy eyes for me. And please take this in view of the fact that I have a mild eye reaction to a hypoallergenic dog. Is this a quiet machine? Sort of. Where I have this in kitchen and open are space beside it , it's quiet and barely noticeable at LOW speed. If I transport this Into my master bedroom I can definitely hear this running at LOW speed with a quiet hiss white noise. If you are ok with that then it should be just fine. If you dislike white noise it might be best to put it in the corner furthest from where you head lays on the bed. I can say I've had quieter machines before. My biggest issue with air filter machines is the filter which I found it nearly impossible to find replacement on some off-brands. That leads me to my last point. Filter replacement. Glad to see I can find replacement filters readily available in Amazon market. So this should be ok for future proofing. This is the main reason I had to throw out my old machine and buy this one. !! Couldn't find a replacement filter ! So in terms of coverage area.... Despite it saying it's good for large rooms of some ~~1000sqft , it's not a huge device. I recommend maybe going conservative on this spec and buying this for around 700 sqft space at best. To be honest I don't think this is a big enough machine to cover 1100sqft.... Well, ymmv. I bought this unit because my other air purifier of 3 years wouldn't turn on anymore (levoit lv-pur131) and the warranty was expired. I needed to replace it asap because of the smoke from the forest fires near my area and pollen and cat allergies. After looking at many air purifiers under $150 and reading a lot of reviews, i decided to give this AIRTOK air purifier a try. I am very happy i did! It is cheaper than my previous levoit purifier and is as much efficient to clear out allergens, smoke and odors, if not better. I want to point out that most of the bad reviews you'll see here are caused by either misuse or very unrealistic expectations for a +/- $140 unit. As for the covered area, they specify the following in the description: "covers 1100 ft² / 102 m² 1.2 times per hour, 492 ft² / 45.7 m² 2.5 times per hour, and 238 ft² / 22.1 m² 5 times per hour". Those measurements are based on open areas size, not a whole house with many room's size, and are important to consider in order to evaluate its effectiveness vs your needs, not only by looking at its max covered area and expecting that it will be as effective in a 1100 sq ft room as in a 200 sq ft one. Also, it doesn't smell at all (if you remove the plastic packaging covering the filter) and the noise level is very reasonable for each fan speeds. Read the full description before buying, and if you choose to buy it, read the instructions before your first use, have realistic expectations based on its specs and you'll be happy with it!

Bought this mainly for pollen allergies which results in stuffy, and runny noses. It also removes food odors quite quickly. Ergo my room is about 120 sq feet in size. I bought three air purifiers, this is the best The bright blue lights CAN be turned off, and quite easy to turn off, so I didn't lose my marbles like some of the other reviewers. The bottom lid to hold the filter IS as every bit flimsy as other reviewers have mentioned. The filter didn't last long. It was more or less exactly a month before the filter failed to handle the pollen and I had to order a new one. Bad thing is, the filter looks almost spanking new and hardly yellowing/browning/darkening compared to a brand new filter. But I know the filter was failing because I having allergic reactions again, and as soon as the new filter went in, the following night had no allergic reactions. According to the Weather report, this entire month was "HEAVY" pollen alert the whole month. Fortunately I've found third party filters that are much cheaper and work just as well. They're about $12 a pop. In terms of pollen allergies, I recommend to just leave the filter running 24 hours if you aren't super tight on counting every drop of power, as it does take time to completely cycle the air for all the pollen to go away, a rough estimate of about 3 hours before I could noticeably feel the difference from the itching of my nose. That's 3 hours of time I do not want to wait when you are allergic and want instant relief from pollen environments. The fan design leaves a lot to be desired, I run it at maximum speed and the fan whine is not the best out there. Compared to my older air purifier fan which sounds like a bog standard tower fan (which doesn't annoy me), this fan is a pitch higher, and just barely acceptable, when placed in the furthest corner of my room from my bed.

Important to know: If you are next door to a chain smoker in an apartment this air purifier will not clear the air. On the other hand, if you fry fish and are finished cooking it might clear the air. It’s not for continual smells as they just keep coming. It’s not a miracle machine. But smells that are finished it does pretty good. It also might help a bit to keep continual smells from adding up but you will still have odor coming in so basically it can’t totally get rid of it.. It takes a lot of cat dander out of the air. I see it on the filter.
