Doesn't dampen all the noise but dampens 29db. I bought them for my service dog & use them for concerts & movie theaters they work well. By dampening 29db it takes these events from dangerous sound levels to equivalents of a crowded room. I'm sure there are others that dampen more but if you're looking for a baseline these are great for the price & a good starting point.

Fits the Great Dane's head and ears okay. When she stands there after I put it on, she seems confused because she cannot hear anything. So, I guess it blocks out sound pretty well. However, it will not stay on her head. There are 2 straps on top that are adjustable, but also stretchy. Same with the one strap under the chin... too stretchy. I don't want her to choke since it's pretty tight fitting, but the only way it might be able to stay on is to have it very very tight.

I got these earmuffs for my dog to use for fourth of July. He is just petrified when the fireworks go off. People have already started setting off fireworks and so far he has not been bothered much. I have let him start wearing them early, just so he can get used to wearing them. It has been nice that he is not freaking out.

3.5 years of trying everything under the sun during thunderstorms (& fireworks) this is by far the best purchase. They are easy to use, durable, function as they should, and are very cute. My dog didn’t whine or whimper a single time with them on during the storms, not even a head turn with loud booms. They have made night time pop up thunderstorms so much easier to deal with & with them on she is not keeping us up whining and whimpering. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did have to do a little tightening/adjusting with safety pins to fit my dog better because she is a mini dachshund & her head is pretty small.

I bought these dog earmuffs for my anxious dog who absolutely hates fireworks, thunderstorms, and loud construction noise, seems to work well when it stays on. But my long hair dachshund have quiet large fluffy ears, it doesn’t stay on as well.

Dog muffs did not work for my Lab she manage to shake them off. If you put them tighter, you're squeezing the pet's head causing discomfort. All photos showing dogs smiling wearing them are all photoshopped. They didn't work for me I wished they did.

The media could not be loaded. Seems to work very well. My little dude likes to sit in the middle of our thirty plus djembe circle Most of us wear ear protection. I wanted to make sure my little dude with super. Sensitive ears wasn't gonna be effective.They seem to fit good. I assume they're comfortable as he does not try to take them off.I was happy with the value.I don't find at least with my little guy any Problems I think both of us are very happy

So I’ll write an honest review based on what I witnessed, they are a very tight fit on my labradoodles head which kind of gives him the appearance of a face lift, very goofy, but I assume they are that tight so that the ear muff part can really press against the ears but it’s not adjustable at all from the top so that’s something I didn’t like, I even tried it on him upside down and I liked o that way better but since the two straps were now at the bottom they didn’t hold onto his head. I bought this because originally he would get scared from loud and noisy streets, I wouldn’t say it really worked for that FOR HIM mainly because it seems that he gets scared by the appearance of some things as well such as bikes, strollers, garbage bins so that’s not a fault of the product. I also tried this on myself (I know funny) because I wanted to see how it was from his point of view, it’s not necessarily too noise cancelling as he can steal hear my commands with it, but it does muffle sounds. I will be returning this product because it didn’t work for me but it might work for others. I’d say the price is also a bit costly for what your receiving. By the looks of it though seems it’ll work better for smaller dogs if even at that.
