Fantastic Budget Phone – Great Value for Money!
I bought the Blackview WAVE8C as a cheap device to stream tv/news on, but I’ve been so impressed with it! For such an affordable price, it offers way more than I expected. What I like:Smooth performance – Handles everyday streaming very wellGood battery life – Lasts a full day without issues, and with light use, I can stretch it to two days.Bright and clear display – The screen quality is surprisingly decent, making videos and browsing enjoyable.Sturdy build – Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, and the design is simple but modern.Reliable Connectivity – WiFi, Bluetooth, and call quality are all solidA few trade-offs (but nothing major):🔹 Camera is Basic – It’s fine in good lighting, but don’t expect flagship-quality photos. Perfectly usable for casual snaps, though but I didn't buy it to take pictures.🔹 Storage can fill up quickly – If you install a lot of apps or take many photos, adding a microSD card is a good idea (which if what I did)Overall summaryIf you’re looking for an affordable, reliable smartphone that covers all the essentials without breaking the bank, the Blackview WAVE8C is a fantastic choice. It’s ideal for casual users, kids, or even as a secondary phone. Definitely worth considering!

Good basic phone
The media could not be loaded. The Blackview WAVE 8C is an affordable smartphone that delivers good value for its price, though its performance can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially with more demanding tasks. It features a vibrant 6.56-inch HD+ display and a sleek, lightweight design, making it stylish and practical. Powered by an octa-core processor with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable up to 2TB), it handles basic multitasking reasonably well. The 4700mAh battery supports 10W fast charging, ensuring all-day usage, while the 8MP+13MP cameras provide decent photo quality for casual shots. Features like face unlock, OTG support, GPS, and triple card slots add to its appeal for budget-conscious users.

Good budget phone
This phone does almost everything we want. As pensioners we don’t want to pay out tens of pounds each month when we have a small family and make or receive few calls. So purchasing phones rather than being ripped off in contracts makes fantastic economic sense. This phone is nearly perfect. It’s faster than our eight year old Mobile’s, the screen is better, photo quality is great, everything is better. Except, there is no tap capability. We have to suffer the hardship of taking out our debit or credit cards from the phone cases and inserting them into a card machine. Apart from this small detail (I thought it was so common now that the feature did not merit a mention in the description) the phone is brilliant. They also came with free wireless earphones. If it were not for the omission on the tap facility this would be a five star item.

Great phone, great price, great service!
Really impressed with the Blackview WAVE 8C — for the price, it’s an absolute bargain! The phone runs smoothly, and does everything I need without any fuss. A big bonus was the free earbuds included — a nice touch and they work really well too. Delivery was quick and the service has been spot on from start to finish. Would definitely recommend if you're after a reliable phone without breaking the bank.

No Google pay option
I didn't have great expectation on this phone as the price is very cheap but quite disappointed as it doesn't give you the option to use Google pay with your cards which I I find essential nowadays without having to bring all the cards. No reference of this missing feature in the the phone details.

Budget phone loaded with features
I got this phone as my second phone given the price point and I must say that it exceeded my expectation as a budget phone. It comes with majority of features which I have in my high end phone. The phone build quality is decent. The best part is that the package comes with a cover and case so I was able to use this phone right after taking out from the box.The phone has all the basic features I needed for example decent camera to capture my bills and photos around, bright screen to work in indoor and outdoor conditions, android App Store where I’m able to get other apps as needed.I am not impressed with the speed of the phone specially while multiple apps are open. The battery life is just okay, not that great. However, given the price point, this is a great phone.

Be aware before you buy
I have updated this review as I was directly contacted by Blackview support who kindly discussed matters with me and provided a good service. Blackview I would give 4 stars for their service, the phone itself 3 stars and this listing 1 star. This phone is a basic phone with a 1.6Ghz processor which is adequate for basic tasks only, do not expect to play graphic intensive games on it. It is slow compared to most phones today. The phone does NOT have 6Gb Ram as advertised in this listing, it only has 2Gb Ram which is expandable to 6Gb. However, dedicated inbuilt RAM has a very fast CPU read/write access and expanded Ram via SD is much slower. I tried using this feature and it made the phone unusable, performance was poor and the UI crashed. So 2GB is all I can use.Be aware that this phone will NOT connect to 5Ghz wifi, only 2.4Ghz. It also has no NFC capability so you cannot use 'tap to pay', Google Wallet etc.The camera is good, but not great, as you would expect at this price point. All in all if it's just a backup phone you want, as I did, this will do the job. But it is lacking in features and I personally do not think it is suitable as a main phone in today's market with today's apps, so be aware.
