Excellent value to give an old washer a new lease of life!
Fits like a glove! Here for a 2010 bought Bosch Avantixx 6 (WAE28366GB/20). It took me about 2hrs, less than £15 for element with express delivery - and now the £450 machine has another lease of life.I watched the video from SPARES-2-GO - some deviation for my model. The plastic bit on the bottom is secured by a screw visible when opening the lid. The front with the door is secured by 4 screws on the bottom - undo all of them, not only the ones holding the white metal (I struggled a while until I realized this). I took the door off - 2 screws. With this, I could put the front to the right of the machine without disassembling the door lock mechanism. (The video shows 2 screws holding the door-lock, my model has it clipped on from the inside instead.) Replacing the element was straight forward as shown in the video. I struggled a bit when putting back the control panel - the leftmost screw would not bite. I had to push the screw down, pulling the casing for the washing powder holder up.Final advice: to safely stow away the control panel, I removed the metal bar on the top edge of the machine - 2 screws, one on each end of the bar. With the bar gone, the control panel could be rested on the top of the machine - keeping it from dangling, getting in the way and risking damage to the wiring.Given the experience, I suppose it could be done in under one hour. Since then, I have done 3 washes, including an empty at full temperature as a stress test. All went well - no leaks.

Excellent Quality Product at a Very Good Price
When our 12-year-old Bosch WFO2465GB washing machine blew a fuse whenever it started to heat the water, I realised that a new heating element was required. I first went on the Bosch website; however, the cost of a genuine Bosch 265961 heating element is £51 + postage. Not prepared to pay that price, I opted to buy the Amyazon equivalent part for £10.88 including postage.Initially, I was concerned about buying a non-genuine part; however, I need not have worried. The element supplied is a very high quality part made in Italy. Indeed, It looked identical to the original element it replaced. Fitting the new element was relatively easy; although the YouTube video 'How to replace a washing machine element in Bosch washer' helped a great deal. One point, though, that is not emphasised in the video, make sure that you slide the new element so that the end goes into the holder. This will ensure that it is held nice and steady.Overall, an excellent buy.

Failed after 3 months
Disappointed to say the heater element has failed after just over 3 months. The may well be a good price but not worth it if they are only going to last that long.
