I feel so cozy
Easy directions came with kit and everything you needed no it’s not the most sturdy but that’s just because I have wooden bottom from the purple bed so it’s slippery but if u have a heavy bed it should be fine u can tweak it though so that’s why im not mad and it does not fall stays if the bottom goes out of place I just push it back under the foot of the bed

Cute but Not Sturdy
I love my canopy design but the poles are a bit flimsy.

Don't breath too hard on it
Worked great for a few months, then fell apart after gently stepping on one of the curtains. The entire structure of connections disintegrated and is currently being shakily held together by the curtains that I just happened to put together in a way to add support.

Cute but flimsy
These poles kinda screw but don't into place, they can come out easy, my daughter bumped into it when we first put it together and it came apart. We fixed it back and it been good since. I'd definitely tuck the feet under the posts of your bed if you can for stability. It is functional, and cute. I made sure to get light curtains because of the reviews. It's been effective, had it about 3 weeks. My daughter loves it.

Daughter Loves It
Definitely use the gloves to put these together so you don’t get your fingerprints all over the poles. The hardest part of this was getting the sizing right. I at first had these poles on the outside of the queen bed frame but it worked for our frame on the inside. When I adjusted this the poles fit together easily. It may be easier to have another set of hands to help with the top poles but I was able to lean one set against the frame and had no problem. The next hardest part was putting the canopy (separate) on. Figuring that out was a little bit of a challenge. My daughter loved it though!
