Works perfect.

The noise level is kinda load but I don't mind cuz I can know it have turned on while In the house. And it's bare able noise. Best to have it so when bad weather comes your ready to keep your family safe and house well lite. Continue your activities and keeps children from panicking. A very good item to have. Also it u can set a schedule on the mobile app to test run the unit that way it keeps all oils and moving parts lubricated and ready to work when it needs to. Also if there's anything wrong it should send information to your mobile app. Very well thought to protect your investment.

Started out not so good - shipping company called me the morning of the delivery and told me that the unit was too damaged to deliver. I did appreciate that being done before delivery and having to go through the order process again. Order was placed again and another shipping company delivered with no damage or issues. They even placed the pallet in my garage. Other shipping vendors wanted to charge a whole lot extra to place anywhere besides the street. Amazon did give me a $50 credit. Once installed, the unit has worked flawlessly and is a huge sigh of relief for this homeowner who lives on the Gulf Coast. Buy the unit separately and DIY an install or find Ana contractor who will give you an install only price. You will save thousands as opposed to buying from one of those huge generator outfits.

The generator that I received has had the following problems 1. At initial installation the transfer switched when the started it up. 2. When they came with board for the transfer switch the display panel was dead. Waited weeks to get the part in. 3. They replaced the display and the generator starts at random time. 4. After being up for a week an amber light came on Error message said battery charger error. Still waiting for generator guy to get instructions from General as to next steps. 5. Today the generator is dead. WORST LARGE PURCHASE OF LIFETIME

Bought this Generac 24kw whole house generator to have automatic power transfer during outages, it came with a 200amp transfer switch and a bunch of useful features. It was packed well and bolted on a pallet, the cardboard carton that surrounded it was a little worse for wear but the contents were fine (undamaged). Note: the generator requires a battery but it’s not included, and if you live in cold weather country you’ll want to order the cold kit which includes a battery warmer and oil filter warmer (worth the money). Also, if you have home wireless there are several features you can take advantage of including Generac’s mobile link which allows for remote monitoring and alerts etc. (visit their site and read more there). I must say the unit is much quieter than I though it would be, I fired the unit up to initialize and we let it run for a bit while we reignited it etc., by wife was in a bedroom right next to where the unit is located and she did not hear a thing. Standing right in front of it with the covers on and shut its extremely quiet, very impressive! (Note: I’m using LP gas and I understand that is quieter than natural gas. (This generator will use either once you set it up right, just a lever to move.) overall very happy with my purchase. Had to use customer support for a few minor things, they were quick and professional.

I believe in Generac quality, I purchased a temp Generac for my daughter and à whole house gen for my wife and I. It came with a bent access panel. I tried to get a replacement panel but got the run around. Amazon offered to refund so I could buy another. I have electrician coming so didn't have time to wait and take a chance the second one will have a worse damage. The over-all unit is good and I straightened out the panel best I could and looks much better. Not perfect but better. I am looking forward to getting it connected. The fuel tanks (LP) will be here soon. Placing the pad base this week. I will keep you posted.

The generator is fine. The delivery company SUCKED!!! It took 10 days to get it delivered after it was in town. I never could talk to anyone just an AI live chat! You need to fix that for large items.

Solid heavy weight home generator. INSTALL: All parts in crate except a battery. Easy to install fuel lines but most buyers will need a "permited" electrician for final panel hook up. Instructons easy to follow if you have some background. Customer service (real humans) was very friendly knowledgable and helpful and picked up within 5 min for each call. NOISE: Obviously a large generator....Too loud to converse standing next to it running but it did run both my 5 ton AC's during double start up and all the normal house parts during summer testing. PRO TIP: Hunt down a correct sized battery sooner than later so not to hold up any testing. Buggers are not a common size out here in God's country
