Very flavorful green tea. Matcha quality. I can’t have he caffeine that’s in matcha which is my favorite so I was suprised that this was so rich And Very close to the taste ofIt. Not your average green tea. I tasted this at a meetingAbout 5 months ago andIt’s the only green tea worth drinking.

I love green tea and routinely buy high grade loose leaf Japanese and Vietnamese teas. I would put this tea up against many of the high grade loose leaf Senchas available. It has excellent flavor and good mouth feel. Just the right level of astringency. Use 6 oz water, at about 150F for 3 minutes for an excellent cup of tea. And for $4.99 on Amazon, this is a bargain, in my humble opinion.

Great taste, you can also add some monk fruit sweetener and fresh lemon to it for an exotic taste. It is awesome! Plus there's the green tea reputation as a powerhouse against cancer. Alas, I was looking for a more fishy green tea.

This is my favorite plain green tea. I drink it almost everyday with some lemon and honey. My former favorite was Yamamotoyama's Sushi Bar Style green tea, but after trying this I've switched over. I used to steep two Sushi Bar Style tea bags for six minutes in 16 oz of water. When I tried the same method with this tea, it came out way too strong. I now steep one bag of this green tea for 3 minutes, and get the same results as two bags of the other tea steeped for six minutes. If I don't have any lemon or if I just feel like a change of pace, I drink this brand's Gen-Mai Cha, which is also fantastic.

Never was much of a black iced tea drinker, but read that green tea is beneficial in many ways. I began to experiment with hot green tea purchased a the local grocers, but it all had a resemblance in taste of regular tea. Most is green, but not like what I see in pics advertising green tea.This evening I drank my first cup of Yamamotoyama Green Tea. I made 16oz with 3 teabags. The color is a fantastic light green.My first sip was; Wow ! Now this is a distinct flavor. Nothing like what I've had in the past. It is really deliciously unexplainable, because I've never tasted anything to compare it with. I'll take a stab and say that oats may come as close as I can relate to, but gives the tongue that certain dryness of tea. I may not know what good green tea tastes like, but I know this tea is different and flavorful enough that I'll be buying more of it.

I drink this every day. I have tried so many green teas. This is sooooo smooth and so much flavor.

To be fair, I was close to a coffee drinker rather than a tea drinker a few months ago. After moving to the U.S., I became so sensitive to drinking strong coffee and began drinking tea at warm temperatures. This green tea helped me a lot to just grab and go. I enjoy this a lot and re-purchased 3-4 times.
