Excellent rapport qualité prix !! Énormément de fonctionnalités pour une fraction du prix des compétiteurs. Je recommande

After trying the Peak Pro I went for this much newer watch. Unfortunately, I knew early on I'd be returning the Race S. Right from the start, it had trouble tracking my sleep time, or the fact I was sleeping at all. At 3 a.m. on the 4th night, it buzzed at me telling me to start moving. I.e., it didn't think I was sleeping the past several hours and that I was sitting around doing nothing. It failed to record ANY sleep in 4 of the first 7 nights, without any rhyme or reason. Yes, I double checked the settings and ensured I had the latest software patches. Regarding the sensor to measure heart rate, I noticed it tended to add 10 bpm to my walks, compared to previously using the Peak Pro and Fitbit, so I figured the Race S was the one with the issue. The 3 stars go to the fact it is a beautiful watch, including the gravel gray band. It looks better in person than in the pictures. The display is clear and easy to read, way better than the Peak Pro in that regard.

Had this watch a week. So far so good. I am coming from a Fenix 6 that GPS went out. and I wasn't paying what Garmin is currently charging for there watches. The watch and band are nicer than my Garmin. I almost always use a heart rate strap for workouts, so I can't speak too much on that aspect, but it does seem similar to my Fenix 6. My one run without a strap was about 85-90% accurate, which is about like the Garmin 6. Daily heart rate accuracy seems similar to my Garmin. The app is different, but seems nice. So far it is a decent upgrade from my Garmin 6s. Side note, I don't run with music.

The heart rate monitor is nowhere near accurate. I came from the Apple Watch ecosystem and was looking for something with simplicity and enhanced fitness tracking. I really wanted to like this watch; the AMOLED screen, interface, and design are all top-of-the-line, but as a sports watch, the HRM is a total failure. My sedentary HR should be around 60, but this watch, Racer S, can give you anywhere from 120+ to 80+; it jumped around so much that you thought of visiting the ER. During exercise, the starting HR should be 60 to 70, but it started out giving you 120+ again and stopped working a few min into the exercise. I did contact Suunto technical support and tried toggling on/off the 24/7 HR tracking, soft reset, and hard reset. They all appeared to work for a brief period (like in a couple of hours) and then got back to "normal" Yes, if I am seriously into tracking my heart rate, I need a chest strap, but again, that will defeat the purpose of my mantra to keep things simple and common; this is a sports watch, and my Gen 4 Apple watch that I have been using several years does better than that.
