Didn’t need to use weights for my 6x6’ banner. Is sturdy but downside is you have to use a little tool to dismantle and reassemble so you can’t loose it and it’s pretty tiny!

I got this to use as a backdrop holder for inside an inflatable photo booth room I have. The interior walls of the booth are not terribly exciting and there isn't anywhere to adequately secure a backdrop, so I've been looking for a stand that can fill the space. Because the height and width of this stand are adjustable, it works perfect for my purpose. I can get the stand to fit nicely against the interior wall without taking up too much room. The stand is fairly easy to assemble once you initially figure out how to arrange the parts and it is equally easy to disassemble and pack-up. I wouldn't say the quality is the greatest, but it is also not terrible - certainly worth the ~$70 price point. The set comes with two water weight bags that essentially look like inflatable donuts. I'm sure many will find these handy, but I prefer the old fashioned sand weights due to my particular application. I will say that I appreciate the footed leg base rather than the tripod legs you see on many of these stands. They take-up less space, are less of a tripping hazard, and are easier when groups want to stand in front of the back drop. I haven't had a lot of issue with the stand wobbling or falling, but again, I'm using it inside an enclosure, so on it's own, you'll definitely want to have it secured. If you're a professional photographer, you might want to opt for a more expensive, higher quality model, but for casual use, this gets the job done. Overall, I'm quite happy with it.

This banner frame is perfect for events, parties or trade shows where you have a banner you need to display. It holds 8x10' banners with ease and they fit perfectly. Its a bit of a struggle with a new banner, but that is so it will hold the banner taut without wrinkling or sagging. I first used it for an adult prom party and forgot to take pictures, but it held the sponsor's commercial banner very well throughout the night. I addition to advertising, this banner holder is great for setting up photo opportunities at events. It is adjustable to hold different sized banners, and you could even use it as a balloon frame. I didnt need to use the water bags to hold it down, but it would be nice if the bags were black like the frame, they really look a little out of place unless you are able to hide them with balloons or a plant. Overall, its sturdy, stores small (though I wish it came with a storage bag!) and does the job, just be sure you have the right size banner or are ok

I ordered this banner stand for use with a Step & Repeat banner. The stand breaks down into eight pieces. It is easily assembled and can be extended to a variety of size variations. I will be using it with a 10'x8' backdrop. I was impressed with the weight and quality of the aluminum alloy materials. I also consider the design to be suitable for quick setup and use as well as portability. The base stands are solid and work well in indoor conditions without the aid of any weights. The upright and cross pieces are sturdy. I did notice one of the plastic connectors was cracked upon arrival. Not ideal, but I will be fixing that with some heavy duty black tape. The stand arrives with two PVC inflatable bladders which are designed to hold up to 30 lbs. water each (according to the product listing). I have not used these bladder weights and will likely use another type of weight system. Nevertheless, I'm pleased they were included and will give them a try. For the price, this stand seems to be a good find.

I have several backdrop holders. By far this one is better than the ones which have a tripod. This one with the flat base is more stable and takes up less space. My only con is the water weight color. It is white and sticks out in a bad way. Best to get black ones to blend in and not stick out so much. You will definitely want to run weights. I use canopy water weights which are round barrels which come in various sizes. They are heavier than the ones which are rectangular. Besides this one gripe with color choice all else is an improvement over the more popular tripod mount system. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. This is a very heavy and sturdy backdrop stand. It comes with a bag. The standing rods have screws underneath that you screw in with the provided L wrench. The 2 stands are very heavy. Mind you that the crossbar screws are very long and tedious work to screw in. This can extend to 10 by 8 feet. This comes with 2 water bags. You will have to put these through the standing rods before you screw them in. 1 thing to point out is that this set does not come with clips to hang the back drop. I recommend this backdrop stand.

This is a super stable frame for backdrops. Everything arrives in a carrying bag. And when you take everything out, set it up and then take it down, you can get it all back in the bag. If you’ve ever been unable to possibly fit things back in a bag like this, you will know why I mention it. The frame is pretty easy to set up. Leveling is a bit tricky sometimes but I always have a level with me when setting up anything like this. Two water/sand bags are included. They are okay but I have a set of my own that I use. I’m very happy with this backdrop frame.

This Hooomyai Backdrop Banner Stand 10 x 8 Ft Adjustable Height Display was great, especially for the work that I have to do, and being able to change the backgrounds makes it wonderful. And this truly is heavy duty. It was a little difficult to lift up at first, but I think that was mostly my grip on the box. Overall, this right here is perfect for a wedding display when you want to have a party or have people line up for photos. This is it. I've been looking for this for a while. So when I saw this, I knew it was a must. Definitely versatile for your needs and more. Thank you!
