uniball 207 Impact Retractable Gel Pens, Bold Point (1.0mm), Black, 12 Pack

I love this pen! Being visually impaired, it writes bold and clear and doesn't smear. The ink cartridges lasts a long time. I also like that the ink used in it fights against fraud, fading and water damage. And, the size and grip of the barrel are comfortable.

This is the one, my friends. My favorite pen of all time. The Uni-Ball 207 has a smooth, beautiful flow that rarely fails, and always comes out bold and easily. I use it for drawing, taking notes, and nearly everything else that requires a pen. It resembles another pen that I like, the Pentel EnerGel Deluxe RTX Retractable Liquid Gel Pen,0.7mm, Fine Line, Metal Tip, Black Ink-Value set of 5 , but without the fatal design flaw that causes that one to consistently splinter and fall apart. The one issue I have with this pen is that I'm left-handed, and this ink doesn't dry quite as fast as I wish it would, so I do get smears from time to time. But for a pen that writes this beautifully and reliably, I'm willing to accept that. I have been told that the Uni-Ball 307 is a superior pen; but the 307 feels more like a ball-point to me, with a finer line and a slightly harsher pen-paper contact point. In my opinion, the 207 is the clear winner, and a joy to write with.

Simply the best affordable pen u can buy! I swore By pilot g2 for years then happened to try one of these. Immediately i was hooked. There is also a cheaper version clicker like this that ia clear and black that works just about is good. The 207 impact is bold at least 1.0mm i do like that. The cheaper one still a uniball signo 207 has bold and standard. The standard is the perfect all around pen. Not too bold not to thin i belive it is .7mm. I prefer the 1.0 impact and the silve impacts are better made they click with athority and are very comfortable to write with. Either way unibal signo is the best pen i have used! There are a few differen ones but all use the same ink refils( besides boldness) also if u like the smoothness of this pen but dont want the bold ink the 307 is for you. .5mm i belive and more precise but not my choise. If i want less ink i got to the normal 207 not the 207 impact(this pen) or the 207 bold. All i can say is as long as u choose the boldness u like u will never look back.

On receipt the pens in the box were partially unscrewed and one pen was missing the spring. While overall this would not be a big deal with the missing spring, these were ordered for my wife who works in retail. With that, the likelihood she will be able to use the pen with the missing spring as a refill is slim as typically you hand a pen to a customer for a signature on an item and sometimes you do not get them back. It is likely I have a pen that no longer works that I can harvest a spring from if they use the same size springs.

Ok so first let me explain the situation. We absolutely love good stationary in my home. Especially pens. We are the kind of people that go to appointments and when we need to sign something or fill out paperwork we pull out one of our own pens because nothing is worse than using a Sh**ty pen. Especially when you have to fill out paperwork or write up a report etc... so my hubby and I are always on the lookout for new pens. One day I needed a pen so I grabbed one of these off of my husbands dresser and was immediately in love. In fact I didn't give the pen back. Of course he noticed that it was missing right away and promised he would buy me one the next day! These are bold tip pens but we find that you can still write small without loosing legibility. The incomes out so smooth I never have any issues with bleeding or running if you're using thin paper you are going to see it through the back however, I am not really a fan of writing on both sides of thin (think composition books) paper so this isn't really an issue for me. My husband uses stone paper journals and has no issues writing on both sides of the page with these. Many Uni-Ball pens, including the 207 Impact RT, use "super ink" which is a special ink that gets absorbed into the fibers of paper checks to protect against fraud/ check washing. If that weren't enough Uni-Ball does one even better; are you ready? You can purchase ink refills for these pens! And we even found staples brand ink that fits as well. My job involves a lot of writing on paper, so I go through a lot of pens. Around the time I got sick of crappy pens that I didn't care about losing, one of my co-workers found one of these that a customer had left. I tried it out and loved it so I bought a box of them. This is one of the best pens I've ever used. It writes smoothly and neatly. The lines are thick enough that I don't feel like I'm going to break the tip of the pen, but thin enough that I can write somewhat small if I need to. The grip is good enough, and the metallic feel of the pen and retracting mechanism is aesthetically pleasing to me. Simply put: I love this freaking pen. I know it's a small thing to love, but in my soul-sucking desk job it's the small things that keep me going.

They write smooth it’s a thick ball , I can’t do without them. Those are the only pens I will write their gel pens.

This does not even deserve a star... you get one pen when the description clearly says 12 pens, if I'd known this when ordering I would've spent my money elsewhere!

I only received 1 pen not as stated 12 would not give them any stars and recomend no one buys these
