Biff, Chip and Kipper Level Stage 1 First Steps Read with Oxford: 3+: 24 Books Collection Set

I read with children who struggle with reading. Biff and gang have long been favourites of mine for this purpose, and they never disappoint with the well thought text and often humorous illustrations.

I purchased these books for my 5 almost 6 year old daughter during lockdown, they are an amazing set of books and well worth the money. I have to admit that thought of reading with a 5 year old after a days work is an eye roller (hate to admit) but these have great activities during the read.. odd one out, match the word cards to the pics etc, even had dad doing a high 5 moment.These are very difficult from the old biff and chip books that I remember.

I bought these for my son over lockdown as he reads them in school. Very impressed with quality and quantity for the cost and love that they come in plastic folder/case to keep them all together. I personally would have preferred more actual reading books as opposed to phonics activity books, only because I have plenty of them already. Very impressed nonetheless and would definitely recommend.!

Bought these for my son. He was 5 when we began to homeschool and 2 years later he is reading chapter books (Charlottes web) by himself. These books really helped. Especially phonics 😃

Best buy..price is amazing!The books are really good for my 4year old it has helped her read..the delivery came earlier than expected quick delivery..overall i am so happy..if you are looking for the biff and chipp books i recommend buying these i have looked around and been put off with prices,quality and number of book..this was a full package all you need to help them read..i will definitely be buying stage 2 in the future

Books are over price, at over a pound per book I'd expected more. They are very short and even the illustrations aren't that good. I got a set of the ks1 tasks books that have far more to them and are half the cost. Save your moneyand look for a differentselection. I would send them back but they escaped out of the flimsy folder they come in and got damaged.

I’ve given five stars because the books are amazing and have helped my child learn new words very quickly. The animations are brilliant too! There’s a reason they use them in U.K. schools!Unfortunately the pouch was broken and ripped that’s supposed to carry the books. Which was disappointing :(

Excellent books.Great for my reception children to read whilst being home schooled and can continue now they've returned.Good array of words, topics and I think the few questions at the end really got them to interact and concentrate on what they are reading and not just sounding out and remembering words.
