Not only to these offer surge protection for my $1000 fish finder and $2000 trolling motor, these are a great alternative to unplugging the units or disconnecting the battery to make sure the batteries don't drain when not in use. Just click the test buttons and the batteries are disconnected. EEZYPEEZY!

Works as intended
Giving this 4 stars mainly because the plastic body is fragile, the screw hole broke while I was attaching it. But other than that it works excatly as intended!

Can handle starting a 388 SBC
I am using one of these as a battery disconnect and to protect everything on my 71 Nova. The terminals seem small but I have not had any issues so far, even when starting the car on warm days.

Worked less than 1 week
Used on solar system, Breaker tripped and would not reset, solar Unit is not capable of producing 250amps, under small load the breaker tripped and the test button does not work anymore.
