The easiest way to make a nice cup of coffee at home
The ideal scenario for this is if you sometimes have a guest who would like a coffee, but apart from that you have no need for coffee in the house. But having said that, I drink a couple of coffees a day and I used one of these and nothing else for years. This is a cheap, easy to use solution which actually makes a really nice cup of coffee. If your friend likes a strong cup... just put two or three scoops of coffee into the filter paper instead of one. Remember to moisten the filter paper completely before putting the ground coffee into it, otherwise it will come out really weak. It's not cheap for a plastic cone, but it is very nice plastic. It fits on nearly all mugs! Not cups though, if you want to serve it in cups you'll have to sit this on an insulated jug and filter into that. Remember to pre-warm it!

Does its job
Not the prettiest product out there, but does its job very well. It doesn't trap the water, which flows out pretty rapidly. Reasonably sized for all of my mugs, even the largest. Never tried on a coffee pot, but I think you'd have no problem.

Thumbs up!!
This handy filter cone is the best item I've bought in a while. It does the job, sits atop cups or jugs for larger brews independently and is well made. Not fiddly to use, washes well and all the filter papers I've used have been fine from name brands to no frills types (unbleached is better for taste though).Light a d travel friendly too.

Brilliant!!!!!
Apart from the RoyalMail ripping the package to shreds, overall very good, I have has one of these cone filters before, this is one is excellent and superior to my old one, you don't get a stupid mesh cup filter witch eventually after about 15 cups of coffee begins to form holes letting the ground of coffee in to the cup. The fact you can use disposable filters if good as you can just throw the used coffee grounds in the bin and then cup is ready for use again. This is Ideal for traveling or a quick coffee in the morning. If you have a coffee machine like me but you just want a filter coffee once in a while this will be the ideal product for you, I have a cafetiere, the filter broke on mine, this cup is smaller so you don't have to take up lots of cubed space just to have a device that you will use once a week or every day. Very good worth every penny.

Cheap and Easy to use for rookies
At the end of the day its a bit of plastic with some holes in it, however for someone trying to do filtered coffee via a drip cup for the first time, this is ideal as you dont brake the bank and if you drop it, it just bounces, risk free! we love it and got some cheap bio degradable filters for it, perfect coffee every time! Now what people dont tell u is we went for this medium size as you can place it over 2 mugs of the same size and pour two at once.

Very useful for one-cup coffee-making
*I bought this during the lockdown to be my own 'barista' as craving good cups of coffee & unable to get out to have a decent coffee. Very handy for one (or 2-cup) coffee making, if you familiar with Melitta products, then this funnel will hold either a one or two cup filter size (which are eco-biodegradable). Funnel filters well (2 holes); good sturdy plastic, so far so good. Feel like I am saving money by not buying outside but also I am not wasting coffee by using my other coffee maker (Bodum coffee press) which is best for 2-4 cups of coffee.

Lo-tech perfecion!
Brilliant! Simple, effective, low tech way to make filter coffee and no mucking about with expensive, wasteful 'pods'! Easy to clean, tough and hardwearing too. Also, this is a cone which can only be used with filter papers - it won't stop you having to use them.

Needs to be redesigned
I like the idea of being able to make a single cup of filter coffee, but I have come to the conclusion that this item has a fundamental flaw in its design. Quite simply, the holes in the bottom are too big. The net result is that the water runs through the coffee too quickly and doesn’t get the full flavour. I have blocked up one of the holes and now get a much better cuppa!
