reliable ankle brace
I gave this brace to my dad, and it's been a huge help for him. He's been able to wear it with ease, and it's provided him with the support and comfort he needs. Excellent Craftsmanship: The brace is well-made, with reinforced seams that provide exceptional support and stability. The materials used are of high quality, and the overall construction is impressive. Customizable Support: The inclusion of both metal and plastic support bars is a great feature. My dad can choose the level of support he needs, depending on his activities and comfort level. The metal support bars provide strong support, while the plastic ones offer a softer, more flexible option. Comfortable and Low-Profile: The brace is designed to be worn on bare skin or over a thin sock, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods. The low-profile design also allows it to fit easily into shoes, which is a big plus. Easy to Use: Although it's a lace-up design, which can take a bit longer to put on, it's still relatively simple and intuitive. My dad had no issues figuring it out, and he's been able to wear it with ease. Unisex and Versatile: The fact that it's a unisex design and can fit both right and left feet makes it a great option for anyone in need of ankle support. It's also suitable for both men and women, which is a big advantage.

Basic Ankle Support With Good Options
I picked up this lace up brace and its pretty well made! been using it for about three weeks now and appreciate having both metal and plastic support options - nice having choices depending what youre doing. the lacing system lets you adjust tightness exactly where you need it and stays secure once tied. fits fine in most of my regular shoes which is convenient. really like how it works with or without socks depending on preference. few things to note tho - takes a few minutes to get the lacing just right especially at first and you might need help getting it snug the first couple times. material feels sturdy without being too stiff and the reinforced stitching looks solid. comes with good instructions for putting it on properly. tried both support bar options and the plastic ones are definitely more flexible for everyday wear. makes regular activities more comfortable when extra support is needed. washing is simple just hand wash and air dry. just remember to take time adjusting the laces for best fit and maybe practice putting it on at home before wearing it out. nice having something adjustable that works for different activities.

Price is fair and has helped my pain
I put at least 12000 steps on a day while wearing this. It's comfortable and the ability to adjust the tightness is good. My only issue is the sewing on the bottom came apart in the middle. The thicker edges stayed together so far but the thread is coming out of the bottom of the back right above the heel opening. The support strips stay in place. It's very breathable, my ankle isn't sweating with this on.

Fit and comfortable
The M size fits very well. I sprained my ankle while hiking. After most of the swelling subsided, I began to use the wrapping stent. It has been sliding. I tried compression bandaging, but it was very tight. I think this is not good for the blood circulation of my feet. When looking for a new brace, I saw this protective gear. It provides excellent support and prevents my ankles from moving left and right. I was deeply impressed by its quality and the ability to outline the ankle curve. I like that it is equipped with two pairs of support rods. It's relatively simple to put it on, but since it's tied up, it's not particularly fast. However, that's not a problem. It really suits my running shoes. I hope it can be used to support hiking.

Hard to put on. Developed a rash.
The slide-in metal supports gives this brace a lot or rigidity and stability. The plastic supports provide a little more flexibility. I found the brace cumbersome to put on and remove. I imagine that would make it even more difficult to do with an injured foot. Furthermore, the tongue is sewn/attached on one side, meaning if my foot was swollen, it would not stretch to wrap properly and be centered. There is a bit more bulkiness, especially on the sides where the supports are held. After wearing it one day, I develop a severe rash on the upper portion and sides of my foot where the brace covered, and a slight rash around the bottom of my foot. At the very same time and for the same duration, I used another type of brace that had velcro to tighten that brace. It was much easier to put on and remove, and one day of wear left only a very slight rash on that foot.

Fancy toilet paper.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I NEVER write reviews . Possibly less than 4 in my 1k purchases. This is cheap. Not only did I only buy it because I was quote “guaranteed by tomorrow “. It wasn’t there until 3 days later. The second time i tightened it up the tongue piece broke loose from being stitched together. And here I am keeping it because I actually need it at moment. Once I get done with it and better , I will whipe my ass with it and throw it away.

Stable and secure
This ankle brace is easy to put on and tighten up. All the security of your ankle lies in the lace tightening. Once you have that down, you just need to stabilize with the metal plating that goes in each pocket on the sides. I got the size large and it fits just right on my size 8-9 wide foot and ankle. It was just a smidge small at the top, but easily still fit around my ankle. It is a snug fit and the laces and plates really do their job keeping you secure. The entire ankle brace is made out of canvas and it seems to be quite durable. I had no problems with ripping while I was using it with my running shoes. It was a tight fit in my first pair of shoes, so I tried another pair and it worked fine once I loosened all the laces. You have to make room for it, but once you do, you’re good to go. It’s a good brace for the price.
