G-Form Men's Pro-S Elite Shin Guard for Football Shin Pads, Kickboxing, Hockey Providing Extended High Impact Protection and Enhanced Flexibility - Black and Yellow

I got these for cycling - due to constantly bumping my shins on the pedals and various other things encountered whilst using a bike. They are really brilliant pads: soft but strong, very light and especially unobtrusive; you forget you've got them on [until they prevent minor injuries!]. A little pricey, but well worth it.

My 11 yr old son is totally delighted with his new shin guards. They are a great fit, very comfortable, light and neat and look cool. I ordered the men’s size S for my son who is 142 cm tall and they fit very well. Most importantly they also seem to provide good protection but obviously don’t have the built in ankle protection that my boy was used to. They have also been through a cycle in the washing machine with no issues.

Was really hoping these would provide better protection, only worn a few times, 1 90 minute game and a 5 a side tournement. In the tournment I was constantly getting little nibbles and by the end I noticed I had a pretty sore bruise on one of my shins.Comfort wise they're great, easy to clean but a bit disappointed by the level of protection - though I suppose that's the price you pay for flexibility and comfort vs the more rigid regular shinpads.

My son always uses g form shin guards. They are brilliant quality, really comfortable and I think a good price considering he wears theses 4 times a week and the last pair lasted 2 seasons. Really happy with that. Wouldn’t buy anything else.

I’ve been wanting this for sometime and they are by far the best shin pads I’ve had in 20 years of playing football! Lightweight, comfortable and washable make them last longer. Would definitely buy again in the future

My son love theses shins. I bought a size S men’s for my 11 year old son and they fit him great. I’ve washed them 3 times now and they still look brand new. I’ve recommended theses to so many people and not one person has said anything different. My son said they are so comfortable and feel like he doesn’t even have shins on. For my self it was money well spent.

They are very comfy and very strong. my son plays football with them and he is confident with them

These shin guards are a very well made product and would probably be good for bmx biking and similar but they're just no good for football. The soft shell protection can not absorb a kick in the shin by a pair of football boots, it still hurts a lot! When you have a hard impact on a small surface area such as as kick from the front of a football boot, you need a hard shell shin guard to spread that impact accross a wider area and absorb the force. This g-form shin pad has lots of very small individual soft foam pads all over it and so doesn't spread the impact over a wide area - it's simple physics, the impact force will get through easier. Also the soft shell, although very comfortable, most definitely doesn't absorb enough of the force, it really hurts when you get a kick to the shins with these on. So, g-form is maybe a great product with some of their other range ie for skating, mountain biking etc... they are NOT FIT FOR FOOTBALL.
