Great tiny machine👍
I purchased this because my ancient 10 years old laptop (still works) would not upgrade to Windows 11. I don't use my laptop very much these days, so I decided that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on either a laptop or a mini pc. I don't know anyone that has a mini pc, so couldn't ask for recommendations on a brand. I saw that this one was on offer, and with a spec that seemed ok for my requirements. I'm a retired 70 year old, so do not require a workhorse, and as I already have a gaming console, I didn't require a gaming pc. This was delivered the following day, and all packaged very well inside the box. Wow how tiny this pc is! Takes very little room up on my desk, and I am going to use the included vesa bracket and attach the pc to the rear of my monitor. I made an error in that I purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse, only to find that when I switched the mini pc on, I couldn't do anything because the keyboard and mouse obviously wouldn't work until the pc had been set up. I therefore had to purchase a wired mouse and keyboard, which are now stored in the cupboard surplus to requirements, until I purchase another mini pc in the future. Setting up the pc was easy, and I installed the updates, did a virus scan etc. Even though this is not the fastest mini pc, the speed that it runs at does seem like lightning after using my old laptop. I did ask a question via the product page, and someone from Bosgame did send a reply very quickly. I've obviously had no reason to contact customer support, but their website has contact details. On their website there are various downloads, but I guess that you only download them if you need to. I've not actually tried listening to see if the audio works, as even on my laptop I didn't require any audio. I will at some point check that the audio works ok in case I do require to listen to something in the future. Unlike a laptop, there is no web camera, but I don't require one, so not having one doesn't bother me. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and it's definitely good value for the money. I'm really amazed as to how they can fit all the components inside the tiny box!! I guess only time will tell as to the longevity of the components. The ram can be upgraded to 32gb and the ssd drive can also be upgraded. I saw a video on how to do this, and even I can manage to do that. However, I'll probably use an external ssd to store files, photos, etc., (in addition to up in the cloud) so I imagine that the installed 500gb ssd will be perfectly adequate for my requirements. I may at some point upgrade the ram to 32gb once the warranty period has expired. Yes, I'm definitely impressed and if I think of anything else to add to this review, I'll come back and add. UPDATE: I've now checked the audio......works great with a good sound 👍

5 Stars, but with some caution
I have had the P3 (32GB) for a little over a month, and I am very impressed by its performance. I use it with an LG C2 OLED TV, using HDMI Deep Colour 4K @ 60Hz ...which is where my caution is raised. The supplied drivers did not support this display, but AMD provide Adrenalin software, which gives some nice options. I use Quality mode for gaming, being my only use for this mini PC. It works very well with Call of Duty Black Ops 6, and Fortnite etc. I can't stand paying Sony to use the internet (aka online gaming), so my PS5 is now redundant, choosing to use the P3 instead ...but ... Windows 24H2 updates are a complete nightmare. Once I have installed Adrenalin, Steam, Epic Games, and very little else, the updates will not load. I have had to reinstall Windows twice to complete upgrades (Recovery and in-place upgrade, neither of which keep apps, only user files). The P3 works well without the updates, so arguably, why should I be bothered that they keep failing? Personally, I think the only reason being peace of mind security fixes. Also, the display adapter keeps failing to recognise 4K deep colour after updates, mainly because of removing Adrenalin (I found I had to manually choose YCbCr 4:2:2, re-start with Deep Colour enabled on HDMI, re-enable HDR, then choose 4:2:0 with 12bit colour). Although highly annoying, I have worked in IT for several decades, and don't get nervous about doing these actions, but it may be off-putting for others. At this time, I blame Microsoft more than Bosgame (you can read many tales of woe regarding their updates)

Fantastic Ryzen with intergated Radeon Video
really good mini pc, can play most games even latest although frame rate won't be amazing they are all entirely playable. what i love most is this is relatively quiet even under heavy load, there no noticeable increase in fan noise it is very unobtrusive and I have had other devices that are so loud and spin up intermittently. a fantastic alrounder, I upgraded memory and added a further 2tb SSD which was an easy upgrade and the RAM allowed me to allocate maximum Video Memory to Radeon which made game performance even better. great buy for me at a discount time for under £300 which is incredible for its performance/cost balance highly recommended

Great potential ruined by broken BIOS and ACPI errors
I really wanted to love this mini PC. The hardware is excellent — Ryzen 7 6800H, Radeon 680M graphics, dual 2.5G LAN, USB4, and solid upgrade options. It’s compact, quiet, and runs cool. In theory, this is a perfect little workhorse for media servers, light gaming, creative tasks, or even development work. But in practice? It’s let down badly by the BIOS. From day one, I experienced system instability: crashes, freezes, boot failures, and disappearing NVMe drives. On Linux, I was regularly dropped into BusyBox during boot. Digging deeper, I found recurring ACPI BIOS errors — the firmware layer that controls how the OS talks to your hardware. These weren’t minor glitches. They caused boot failures, USB instability, and power management problems. Even under Windows, the machine would behave unpredictably at times. To make matters worse, Bosgame’s own website offers BIOS updates that are either incorrectly labelled or simply not the right version. There’s no changelog, no real documentation, and flashing them didn’t solve the issues. You’re left guessing whether the update even applied correctly. That’s not good enough for a system aimed at people who want reliability. It’s frustrating because the actual hardware is excellent. If Bosgame just released a proper, stable BIOS and fixed the ACPI issues, I’d happily give this 5 stars. But without that, I can’t recommend it — not unless you enjoy troubleshooting firmware problems on a brand-new machine. You might get lucky with your unit, but I didn’t — and I’m clearly not alone. Great on paper, poor in execution. Fix the BIOS, and this would be a brilliant machine. Until then, it’s a gamble.
