Men's SNKE56 Seiko 5 Automatic Gold Dial Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Watch

I was searching for a gold watch to live out my movie gangster dreams, and stumbled across this. When I bought it, I was surprised with how light it was, and how gold it was. It was perfect in that aspect. My issue with the watch was that it was too tight for my wrist (8" wrist, XL hands). While it fit, it definitely dug into the skin. When I emailed seiko for replacement links, giving them the model number, they told me the watch was discontinued and they do not have any links to send me. I wanted to like it, and it was honestly one link away from me keeping it forever, but I had to return it. No issues at all with vendor!

I looked at more than a dozen watches and this one seemed to be a perfect combination of style, quality and price. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but I'm completely satisfied with it. Looks great; runs great; I'm really happy with the choice I made.

Watch looks great and keeps perfect time so far. This is my third Seiko (but first automatic). Only negative: I didn't like the flimsy-looking metal band that it came with. But after I changed it out with a brown leather band, no complaints. I've gotten over 15 years of service from a single Seiko and expect the same with this one.

I love that watch. It meet all the criteria of looking, functioning,pricing and the pleasure to wear it. And you do not have to buy battery for it. I have another Seiko bought 22 years back. It is still running and look nicely. Seiko is a brand you can trust.
