Not my favorite
Takes a little more time getting my hands all the way in, but at least I don't get burn on my forearms. I don't like the circle textured grip because food gets trapped in them and it's hard to clean. I would not buy them again for that reason alone.

Does not get hot enough
I let it warm up for 15 minutes before using it. It still does nothing to my eye lashes. Would not recommend.

I prefer this over a conventional eyelash curler/don't have a lot of lashes to begin with
I don't have a lot of lashes nor are they very long and they are at a very downward angle. I was constantly pulling them out using a conventional eyelash curler, plus I could never seem to get the lashes in the corner of my eye. This solved both those problems. And don't worry about burning yourself, it gets pretty warm, but it's not like a hair curling iron by any means. Apply mascara, while it's drying turn on the eyelash curler to warm up. I start at the base of my lashes and hold the curler there for a few seconds and press upwards. I don't sweep all the way to the tips of my lashes, I don't really see what that accomplishes. You need the bend at the base. When lashes cool for a minute, I will apply another coat of mascara. It does seem to bake my mascara on a bit as it really flakes off in pieces when I remove it at night, but I don't think there is any harm in that. I think this is probably a much gentler alternative to a standard eyelash curler that curls by crimping with force.

Don't bother - it does not work as anything but an item to occupy space in the junk drawer
I would give negative stars on this product if I could. Item is made of cheap plastic. Sure, that makes it nice and light, but not durable or indicative of quality in the least. I thought the batteries I used might be old, and changed them out twice to no avail. Not only does the product not get warm enough to curl your lashes, it does not actually get warm at all. In fact, I'm not even sure it has a heat mechanism built into it. You'd have better luck using the heat of the sun to curl your lashes. Save your time, money, frustration, and hopes. Do not buy this product. It does not work. At. All.

Good grip, great insulation, excellent price.
I ordered these to replace some Mainstays oven mitts, which had holes in the ends where the rubber/silicone had worn away. I have plenty of experience with burnt fingers and in the end started using a kitchen towel doubled over several times.Firstly, apart from being superior in quality, they're superior in every aspect from the all over silicone (up to the cuffs) and they appear larger than the traditional cloth mitts. Probably a result of the heavy-duty silicone on the outside. These mitts have a soft lining on the inside, so they don't feel like you're wearing a rubbery glove. They would fit adults of all arm sizes. In contrast to predominantly cloth mitts, these are a lot easier to wash, right then and there. Plus, they dry a lot faster too. You can even wipe them with a dish cloth if you have something particularly nasty to clear off.The grip on these oven mitts far exceeded my expectations.I did a bit of a non-scientific heat test after some baking today, because to me the true test of a good insulated mitt is how long you can hold the hot object that just came out of the oven. I had a bread pan with a quinoa egg recipe, which had been cooking at the regular 375F for 40 minutes. When I pulled it out of the oven, I was firstly surprised at no more burnt hands. I put the pan down, checked the mitts and noticed they were warm on the outside, but couldn't feel any heat whatsoever transferring to the inside. I then put the mitts back on and held the pan underneath (where it's hottest) for probably 3 minutes. Still no issue. These oven mitts are ridiculously well priced and for those considering an expensive alternative that doesn't have the protection of the silicone - good luck at the E.R.Would I recommend these? Definitely. I'm considering purchasing some as a gift for my mother who lives in another country. We just can't get this kind of product there and they would be well received.Update 04/01/14: I pulled a pizza out of the oven that was cooking at 425F and noticed a bit of warmth coming through the mitt, but still no burnt fingers. However, I don't think I'd want to hold the pan for much longer than necessary. These probably function best at the typical cooking range of 375F and lower. I'm not sure if they could be made a little thicker in the fingers without causing issues with gripping ability or not.

This doesn't work! Do not buy it. I ...
This doesn't work! Do not buy it. I have long eyelashes and I have used it the same way as the instructions and it does not curl my eyelashes. I have to use a regular eyelash curler (BEAKEY) in order to curl my eyelashes. I've also tried this heated eyelash curler after I curl my eyelashes with the regular eyelash curler and it does not do anything different. What works for me its to heat the regular eyelash curler with a har blow dryer and that works perfectly.

High quality, very protective oven mitts
We purchased these on the recommendation of our son's pediatrician, who had sustained 3rd degree burns on her hand when when a pan she was carrying tilted and hot fat spilled and soaked through the oven mitt she had been wearing. We are so glad we did. These oven mitts are wonderful. They extend almost up to the elbows, and the first approximately 4/5 of the mitts are covered with silicone. The interior of each mitt is lined with quilted, thick padding all the way to the elbow. Liquid and steam cannot permeate these and, because they are so well padded, the inside of the mitt does not even become warm. Though the padding is thick, it is flexible, so it is easy to grab and hold small handles and utensils.I have had the accidental opportunity to test them twice. The first time I unthinkingly (and not very brightly) reached across a pan of boiling water to stir what was cooking in the pan behind it. The steam just condensed on the exterior of the mitt forearm and rolled off. The second time I was draining a pan and very hot water ran over the side onto the hand of the mitt. I saw the steam and hot water, but didn't feel either. I believe that without the protection of these mitts I likely would have sustained significant burns. The mitts appear to be very well made and look like they will be quite durable. They do cost more than most cloth or unlined silicone mitts, but provide much more protection and in my experience they have been well worth the expense. I plan to purchase several more pairs, both for home and to give as gifts. I would highly recommend them.
