These are a great starter pack for amateurs!! This was my first time using russian piping tips and I was able to decorate this cake with everything from the set. There was a slight learning curve but it was easy enough! And the decorations turned out great. The tips are easy to clean with a brush and the size of the decorations were just what I wanted for flowers on a medium sized cake.

My toddler wanted a flower birthday cake. I have never used piping tips, but thanks to a handful of short YouTube clips and these tips she got the pink floral cake of her dreams. They are pretty easy to pick up. Tip: use Russian buttercream/condensed milk frosting.

I really liked this set. It comes with 12 Russian piping tips and two icing tips, plus 30 nylon piping bags and one silicone bag. It also includes three cake decorating couplers. The nylon piping bags break easily, so I don't recommend them because they're too flimsy and leak all the filling. However, the tips are fantastic for creating flower and leaf designs.

I took a cookie and cupcake decorating class a few months ago and the class had some of these piping tips. I LOVE them. Have not used them all yet, still testing and trying. I have made a couple of batches of cupcakes and they just turned out so beautiful, I surprised myself. Read the instructions, watch video tutorials and have FUN. Have no desire to be a professional at this, just for home use, but it's a a blast!
