Was a little dubious of this because cheap tools from mass produced non tool companies are usually old tat. This however is definitely NOT tat. It's excellent. My last one was also excellent but is now old and past it's best but it was 3 times the price and not much better. This is sharp, sturdy and the metal is thick and strong. If you need a painter's friend, this is great and just as good as the expensive ones.

I use this to flatten a ready mix type of plaster on walls. I tend to use this to flatten large areas and use a conventional trowel to fine tune the edges and corners. I find that I can get large areas done quickly with this method especially when paired with a roller designed for plaster (i.e. not a standard painting roller). It took some getting used to and to find out which techniques worked for me but in all it's been a good buy. It cleans up really well at the end of a session too. I think I've owned it about 8 months now and doing a second room with it now.

Very smooth skimming tool but the edge is not straight hence you always get inadequate surface

I’ve never skimmed a wall in my life but using this with Dalapro Roll Nova got my kitchen walls nice & smooth ready for new units.
