Q: why it doesnt rise? someone said expired powder fails to rise but mine expires next year.

If an open box of baking powder sits around for a while it will lose its ability to rise, even if it hasn’t exspired.

Q: Will freezing prolong the life of the product ?

I really don't know, I think it might damage the product in the long run

It doesn't say it is gluten free on the label, but I think it's gluten free. My self I like gluten-free. It's just Aluminum free which is very safe for our health.
