WARNING DANGER! I bought this in April when my baby was still small and everything was fine! But now she's 11 months old and she's opened the barrier twice and fallen off the bed! Another child had barriers from a different manufacturer with a latch on the outside only, and we successfully used them until 24 months! I don't recommend these barriers because they're expensive for such a short use and unsafe for the child! I am extremely outraged by the fact that Amazon refused to help me return an unusable and expensive product!

This rail changed my life. Sleep is now possible with a baby. Only thing is that the support system doesn't make sense when you buy more than one side. The legs overlap each other. Also it was advertised to work on flat bed, but the legs just layed on top of each other and the corners were separating. I used zip ties to secure and its been working great. Overall this is a game changer and glad to have it just wish it was designed differently. I think most bed types wouldn't have an issue and honestly it's so good that the zip ties don't bother me.

Please you are better off getting cheap crib of facebook. My infant didnt make much sound but ThankGod I was right next to him when it happened!!! ITS NOT worth the risk!!!! 0 stars!!!! A co-sleeper or crib is far much better. Yes your 1yr old will get stuck on the sides!!!
