Great Value for Money
My son isn’t very tall for his age (two years old, approx 80cm, and short legs). We really struggled to find a bike that would work with his height, but also one that was reasonably priced. The Strider 12 fit our requirements perfectly and he absolutely loves it. The build quality of the bike is excellent and it’s very simple to put together. I also bought a support handle (definitely worth considering) to bolt to rear, as bending over to help him became back breaking. I’ve seen other more expensive bikes which weigh less, but to be honest I can’t say that this heavier bike has had any negative effect on my sons ability to learn.

A must buy!
Great bike- measured my sons inside leg before ordering to check it would fit (he's 20 months), and although it's a christmas present so he hasn't seen it yet, I've had a look and it looks perfect to me.Had a balance bike for my eldest (NOT strider) a couple of years ago and this one is just so much better- it's a lovely looking bike, seems very sturdy, and I can buy the longer saddle post when he grows out of this one (other balance bike I had for eldest didn't have this and although he now rides a pedal bike perfectly, and has done since 2yrs 6months of age thanks to starting on a balance bike-no stabilizers- he still likes to ride his balance bike but it's so small for him he ends up hurting himself). He has ridden a strider bike at a strider session at our local BMX track and loved it. There's a chance he won't be too happy about little brother getting one Christmas Day...!I had a few questions after purchasing the bike about delivery etc and Karen at Strider UK couldn't have been more helpful. If you are considering buying one of these please don't hesitate, I can't recommend highly enough. The product and the service are top quality!

Excellent bike, no point looking at any others!!!
What an excellent product! To the reviewers who haven't given this bike 5 stars- why? It's great from a young age, the price is excellent value for money considering the fact they can use it for so many years and the customer service is second to none. The seat and handle bars adjust to exactly the height you want and my almost 2 year old has had this since Christmas and uses it every day. It's easy enough to clean that he can use it in the house as well as outside (we have floorboards so he loves this) and due to how light it is when he originally struggled to get the concept of steering he used to just lift the bike to turn around a corner! In fact, we are so impressed that we will be buying another one for his brothers first birthday so they can race around together rather than after each other! Overall a fantastic purchase, thank you so much strider for making bike riding so great at such a young age!

Fantastic service from seller direct!
Fantastic bike and fantastic service from seller direct. This is a beautifully designed bike well worth the money, I originally ordered the classic for my tall18 month old, but my 3 year old also wanted to ride it occasionally so that she could gain confidence on it before trying to ride her pedal bike without stabilizers. The strider sport comes with a extra larger padded seat for an older or taller child and clamps for ease of use whe changing over seats. I spoke to karen at strider bike and she immediately arranged for the sport to be dispatched to me. I am very impressed at their customer service. The strider classic is a beautiful bike but with 2 children and having to change over seats frequently I chose the strider sport. The cheaper alternatives are just that, cheap, and are no comparison to this bike! Well worth the investment and I am confident you wouldn't get the same fantastic level of customer support. Thanks

Brilliant quality bike
We bought this for our son on his second birthday. Up until now, he's been riding a Toddlebike in the house, but as it wasn't very suitable for outdoors, we decided to get him a balance bike that was more robust and comfortable on rough terrain.Although our son has been riding the Toddlebike for a while, he is having to learn to ride the Strider like a beginner as it requires balancing which the Toddlebike doesn't. But after three weeks he has started riding around slowly in the house while seated and hopefully will enjoy the bike for longer spells outdoors within a few months. The build quality of the bike is excellent and assembling the bike took only 10 minutes. It feels solid and I am confident it will take brutal punishment on the trails for years to come. For those wondering whether the bike would be too big for their children, our son is approximately 85cm tall and when the seat is at its lowest setting, it's just right for him.

Almost perfect
We only just got it yesterday (super easy to put together for mammy) and my 21 month old was straight on it and striding off down the street, so cute! --he got a bit carried away & tried to go too fast and kept toppling over! but I was right behind him -- it's the perfect size for him on the lowest settings, and he's a small boy, could easily pass for 18 months. It'll grow with him for 2 years+ easily.I wish I'd done this with my almost 6yr old who still doesn't know how to pedal a bike, and has always had extremely poor balance, much worse than his little brother. I've just bought him a Strider 12 sport so I'm hoping it'll be okay for him on the largest setting. Off striding down the beach at the weekend! :)Edit: all I wish for this bike is that the seat was comfy. My 21 month old is in pull ups at the moment, almost potty trained and the seat is so hard for him but he'll still need a little seat for a while. He doesn't seem to like sitting on it. I wish there was an option to purchase a little padded seat or seat cover for this bike.
