Nice, functional and sturdy
My 6 year old daughter loves her bunk bed. It is her “dragon loft”. She feels safer on her bunk bed, she enjoys looking down on everyone who enter her room. She likes the table, the lights, the drawers and the steps. It makes her feel special and like she has her own exclusive place inside her room where only she can go. The assembly took longer than it should. Th instructions were ok but there are minor things that aren’t super clear from the pictures and we had a couple times where things were backwards. I do a lot of assembling so I am not at all a novice. I very much pay attention to detail but sometimes the pictures a too ambiguous. So it took a couple hours. I have assembled bunk beds before that took less than half the time. This is more elaborate but having to redo something because it wasn’t clear can be irritating. All in all, it looks nice, it is sturdy, and a decent value for your money.

Great product
This is a great loft bed. Very sturdy and well designed. Instructions were good. But its a long project. Plan on 3-4 hrs. Its all steel so the box is very heavy.

Top step will not stay on...otherwise fantastic bed
I always get concerned when ordering big things like this. I get nervous about them being what I hope and how much hassle it will be if things go wrong. I was very happy when everything arrived in perfect condition, and was very happy that I was able to assemble this myself, in a space that's probably only 6ft by 10ft. It took some outside the box thinking, but it was accomplished. It did take about 5hrs by myself to put this together, and there were some areas that made little sense to do it the way they had it in the instructions, but it still worked out, and my 9yr old now has a ton of room in his bedroom, with him now having a bunk bed. Smaller house built over 100yrs ago, with smaller bedrooms, this was very much needed. It is rather sturdy once built, and just having up against a wall, the anchors were not needed for us. There are a few things I do not like about this, including that we need to get him another mattress, as the one he had is way too tall for this. The beams going across are rather flimsy, and I honestly recommend placing a board over them to stabilize and give more room for movement without worrying about them bending. We had a flat piece/boxspring that went to his other bed that was a perfect fit, so we just used that, but it took away 2 to 3 inches of height for a mattress. We were fortunate to have a play couch that comes apart for fort making, and those are only about 5 inches thick, so we put it together like a puzzle and that's his mattress until we find a 5inch thick one. Truthfully, I would not go any higher with this, as it takes away from the railing doing its job and keeping your kid from rolling off. The other issue I have with this is the bolts for the steps only. They are all just slightly too short, and almost impossible to get in to the boards. The top step on ours only held one of several, and if you pulled up hard enough, it popped right off. Not very secure or safe. I feel they could have went with ones just a few mm's longer and they would have been perfect. Fortunately, I had some that worked to secure it better, so it was a minimal issue, but still an issue. The steps are also kind of narrow, and I feel snug trying to go up and down them, and so does my child who is 5ft and 117lbs. Just 2 or 3 more inches wider and they'd have been perfectly comfortable. It does mean he has to go slower though, so the fact that it makes it safer, sort of cancels out the issue to me, so it's not a bad problem really. This bed overall is mostly as I had hoped despite the couple problems I stated. It reduced clutter by offering a built in desk and shelf, and has opened up the floor for my child to be able to actually play in his room. He loves being up high, and feels safe and secure as well, which is huge for him, being as he is autistic, and over worries about things that seem unsafe or even just new. The fact he loves it and wants to hang out on it all the time is a huge bonus and says a lot about this bed, despite my qualms. Even though I did not give this the full 5 stars, I would, and have, considered ordering another for my daughter. I know the few issues it has, and how to improve them, and the fact it did arrive rather fast and in perfect condition is a huge relief and would ease my concerns greatly by getting the same unit again. I think it looks great, has increased my child's ability to utilize his room for playing and school work, and is a pretty good value for the price. This will be used until my child outgrows it, which will be many years to come. Overall, a huge win, despite everything else.

Pretty much perfect!
We absolutely love this bed! One of the best bunk beds i have ever bought! Only negatives are: the mattress supports dont fit right if the bolts are completely tightened. One bar was missing the hole. And the directions completely missed a step for piece #36. But I figured it out without too much complication. Overall great design. My daughter weighs 111 lbs and we were worried about the stairs bowing, but they held firm!

Great bed
My 11 year old loves this! Sturdy and simple to put together. Really though dont tighten the screws until finished because the wooden tops to the desk will not fit or align right with the holes. Fair warning

Parts don’t fit together
The idea is great but the product honestly sucked. The instructions where missing steps and pieces that belonged to the stairs luckily we where able to find where the left over pieces belonged in the end when we couldn’t get the stairs to stay in place. The pre drilled holes for the bolts were not lined up with the desk. So there was a lot of removing pieces pushing then pulling and still not being able to make it work. One of the main bars that held the structure together had a bolt that was too short and couldn’t be threaded through so we had to go to the store and find a completely random one to make it fit. I knew I was purchasing just a metal frame but it was honestly disappointing

Decent Product
Great item for the price point, just don’t over tighten the screws like instructions states, and will be all Good😉

My daughter loves it
I think this is a great bed for the price. The top railing is a little short once you get the mattress on. We’ve had for a little over a month and the lights are falling off. The instructions are actually impressive with the pictures and details, just make sure holes are oriented the right way. Also make sure you have a couple days, it took me about 8 hours to put together. Tons of pieces. My 4 year old loves it
