useful
This CD is useful for learning about the differences in distros. I will say that it would not boot on a couple of old computers. One from about 2000 and another about 2002. On several others, it worked quite well. I now have macpup on one computer, and Wary on another, still learning. I know you can download online for free, but the time it saves plus the mistakes that are possible, I think make this worthwhile.

Free Software!
These Pupppys are ALL available FREE to download, so in essence, you are charging $8.99 for putting them on a $0.25 (at most) CD. Where did you get the 'original list price of $29.99 from? Do you really expect ANYONE in their right mind to pay for FREE software? - this is FREE OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE developed by Barry Kauler and the Puppy community at large.

Not easy to get onto a very old machine harddrive
Worked, mostly, but lots of stuff with the newer browsers don't work properly. Not easy to get onto a very old machine harddrive.

Puppy LINUX works for me.
There may be lots of better distros of LINUX, but like many who live in one of the world's depressed economies, I needed something that accommodated my dial-up modem.

but nice to know I have a clean copy to use ...
Meets my needs. Yes you can get free online downloads, but nice to know I have a clean copy to use over and over again.

Linux always easy to use for basic functions
Linux always easy to use for basic functions. Good distribution, after using RedHat, Mandrake, and Storm Linux in the past.
