Great smell upon opening,Great packaging,and,even better..outstanding flavor profile on both koicha,and,a latte! Hardly any bitterness, and more sweet than any matcha I've tried thus far! Just got the gold teamsters blend in so will be trying that one.

This is the first matcha I have bought from Amazon. I usually buy straight from other authentic matcha makers’ websites. I used it for my morning matcha tea ceremony. This particular matcha has a very deep rich flavor and color. It’s bright green and smells sweet upon opening. Also, it’s not too foamy when prepared. You can definitely taste the umami notes when drinking it Usucha. It’s smooth with very little to no astringency. I’d classify this as a higher middle tier matcha.The only request I would ask the maker of this matcha to do is to add more information about themselves, their tea master, and how this particular matcha blend should be prepared. For example, which temperature of water would do best with this blend. (I prepared it at 160 degrees Fahrenheit)Other than that, I really enjoyed it and would purchase again.

I usually use naoki's matcha, also available on amazon, but this powder is miles better and has much more of an umami/well-rounded taste in comparison. froths up soo nicely with microfoam and pairs perfectly with my usual maple syrup + soy milk!

It’s pretty good! I made a latte out of it and it didn’t have a bitter or grassy taste to it. It’s not sweet either but I prefer to add my own. I want to purchase the gold version next.

Although I don't like the taste enough for traditional matcha tea, I like it in matcha lattes. Impressed by the color and quality for the price
