Love these simple shoes!
I put these shoes on straight out of the package and have hardly taken them off. I have regular width slender feet and ankles and have had no trouble with them being tight or hard to get on, so that definitely depends on your foot/ankle size. I've taken a photo to show the amount of arch support and cushion that is on the bottom. I have very flat feet so these have helped me have a bit of support. I typically wear a 9.5 but ordered the 9 and am very glad I did. I still have some room and they are a bit loose on me, but an 8 would be too short. This may have more to do with the thickness of my ankles/feet than anything. I did try the crocs Isabella T-strap jelly sandal on in stores before ordering these and that's why I chose to go down in size, since that one wouldn't stay on my foot at all. Too bad, because it is super comfy and cute, too. That one would be a better option for those with larger ankles as I couldn't even keep them on.All in all I'd definitely recommend this but caution you if you have larger ankles that maybe the ankle band would be too tight for you. If you have thick feet (top to bottom) I'd think these would fit fine. Mine are a bit loose in that regard so there is definitely room for some thickness.I have had ZERO irritation or blistering from wearing these and they provide adequate support. I have very flat feet and am prone to plantar fasciitis and so far I am very pleased :).

My new go-to summer shoe
These are so comfy. I have really high arches that collapse on standing. I am supposed to wear my prescription orthotics but sometimes it is just too dang hot or impractical for close toe shoes. So I wanted flip flops with at least some arch. These are certainly not as high as I should be wearing, but are an improvement over your typical flat flip flops. These feel like they mold to my feet. They are soft when I step but still decently supportive (like I expect Crocs to be). They are thin...a pro cause it feels closer to being barefoot, a con cause anything sharp could probably easily pierce the bottom. Don't get me wrong, they aren't so thin they feel cheap. I like the thinness I just wouldn't wear them around a construction site.I was a little concerned about reviews saying they are slippery. I thought those reviews were referring to the bottom not having enough traction. They actually have a lot of traction. Where I have found them to be slippery is on the INSIDE of the shoe. But this is only an issue if your feet get wet. It doesn't happen a lot, but I like to wear these while watering plants (they are easy to hose off) and a couple times my heel has slid out the side of the shoe. That can be a fall hazard so I just step a little more carefully when they are wet. If you are like my mom, who twists her ankle at every opportunity, these might not be the shoes for you.The shoe is a little tough to get on and off because you literally have to stretch the ankle strap to get your foot in. If you don't have a lot of hand strength, these could be too hard for you to get on and off. It will also probably hurt arthritic fingers. In terms of esthetics, these aren't the cutest shoes in the world but I do think they look "sexy" from the front. The back is a little less sexy. But it is a reasonable trade-off to me because I need a shoe with a heel strap to keep my toes from overworking and my feet from cramping.I do wish these came in half sizes. I usually wear an 8.5. My toes come right to the edge on the 8 and every once in a while if I shift my weight just so, my toes creep over the edge. But I am pretty sure the 9 would not have fit the contour of my feet as well. So an 8 it is. Also, my feet are on the narrow side of regular width, and these are perfect width for me. Might not work as well for wide feet.

Thank GOD Crocs made sandals for "the rest of us"
If you wear the regular Croc clogs I'm the one pointing and laughing at you, so I find it even more amusing that I actually own a pair of shoes from a company whom I thought was playing a sick joke on the world.I got the black ones. I was digging the green and purple, I just needed black and thought they were a good place to start. Normally I wear an 8.5, the reviews here were super mixed, some saying size up (even Crocs says size up) some say size down. I went down to an 8. I'm glad I did, they fit my foot perfect. I also have a SUPER high arch and I was hoping it wouldn't be bothered by being braced in by the strap.I threw them on, because I had to get an opinion of own on these little feather light sandals AND because I wasn't about to roll around town and have my feet aching after an hour...I felt like a super hero putting on his suit as the rubber snapped down on to the top of my foot. As soon as I stood up, they felt cushy. I likey.I wore them for a few hours working around my yard and home. The thong did begin to annoy me, only between my toes, after about two hours, but I think that's the way my foot is shaped AND I believe it will stretch out. The other straps were absolutely fine and otherwise I didn't even feel them. They are super comfy. They're super cute and sexy because they're barely there, my hubbie dug them too (also someone who points and laughs at croc wearers). They are made of rubber however and at least the black ones do look like rubber, I don't think I would wear them for any type of dressy occasion. With shorts in the summer, heading to the beach, smacking around town, or even with a casual maxi dress though, I think they'll pair nicely. I love that I can hose them off if they get dirty - I hate cheap Walmart flip flops and these are a totally upgrade/replacement for crap footwear.Thumbs up to Crocs.
