If your looking for a high quality Air Conditioner with an excellent customer service behind it, look no further. I purchased this machine last September, so its had a good workout before I submitted my review. When I first used it I was concerned with how loud it appeared to be as I wanted to use it in both lounge and bedroom, I set it to cool with auto fan at 19 degrees and switched on. Of course it started with high speed fan and I mean high speed, in seconds it was blasting ice cold air from the vent at the front, this vent has manually adjustable louvers to direct the air flow both side ways and up and down so you control just where you want the air flow to go, unlike oscillating types, it circulates all of the room and in minutes the whole of the room has a gentle cool breeze throughout ( unless you stand directly in front of it). This is a powerful machine and can bring the temperature of the room down to around 16 degrees but we are in our mid 70's and find setting it around 19 is very comfortable for sleeping, as the temperature comes down the auto setting adjusts the fan up or down from high to med or low and vies versa, the fan can be set to your own setting. The db rating is one of the lowest for portable air conditioners and you soon get used to the white noise and don't notice it after a while. We are both light sleepers so we switch on the unit an hour before we go to bed, the room is then comfortable when we go to bed and we drop off in minutes. This is a very versatile machine, not only is it an air conditioner it is a dehumidifier, a heater and also has a fan setting if you don't want ice cold air blowing, It is very efficient and economical to use, comes with a remote control and casters for manoeuvrability. Because of my age I wanted an easy way to move the unit between the two rooms, so I wanted to have a hose in both rooms and be able to uncouple the hose from the machine easily, what I needed was a second coupling adapter like the one supplied with the machine that just slides into the bracket on the machine. I phoned Georges who supplied the machine though Amazon and explained to a lovely lady what I wanted, she checked the stock, e mailed me the link to make sure it was the correct part, I ordered the part on line and it was delivered next day by DPD, now thats what I call customer service. I highly recommend the BLU 12 unit and certainly the after sales customer service.

Excellent purchase-expensive, but worth it. The unit is well built, easy to move and extremely efficient. It has replaced my old one which just could not cope with the recent heatwave, which was horrendous, with a temperature of 26c and humidity at 56 in my living room. The Blu reduced the humidity to 40 within 15 minutes and the room temperature to 22C in just over one hour. The instructions are good and easy to understand and delivery was fast. It has a modern look and good castors. I purchased, having seen good reviews and also after purchasing an air purifier of the same make and equally impressive performance. It is certainly not silent, but the noise does not interfere with watching TV, or conversations. I am a very happy customer.

How much is a good night's sleep worth? How much is a summer of good night's worth?? Exactly the cost of this unit for me. I get little enough sleep having a toddler and I was on the verge of insanity from lack of sleep before getting this.It cools down the bedroom so its like a fridge, its fab. It seemed a bit noisy at first, but quickly got used to it, and I actually like the white noise effect of it now. I sleep much better with it than without it. My toddler asks for it on when she goes to sleep too.I've had it for over a year now, and there's been no problems at all. Wish I'd got it at the start of the good weather, not just when the heat got unbearable.Wish it had come with a longer hose though, or at least the option of one, as I'd prefer to trail it out my small window above, but won't reach.Yes it's a considered purchase, but so far I've had a year of better sleep, and a year of a toddler going to sleep much quicker. That's priceless.

Bought the BLU12HP 12,000BUT Aircon from George's Industrial Services Ltd storefront and I'm so far extremely happy and surprised with the aircon.===PACKAGING===So this unit comes with all sorts of doodads to make your life easier. There are several different window fixtures which enable all the heat out and less heat in. Some of these fixtures also stop those pesky spiders from coming in. It's dependent on your window type but these fixtures are a nice addition.Of course you don't need to use them. You can just pop the hose vent out the window and leave it at that!===FIRST IMPRESSIONS===It's big and it looks sleek! Very nice to look at and great UI. It's noisy but it's an aircon so it is what it is.I was very happy to see you can press a button to cycle between cooler, dehumidifier, fan and heater.Comes with a remote control too which actually has a screen to show you what the unit is doing! Very useful!===FIRST USE===I turned this unit straight into cool made and dialed it down to 16c. This means the unit will attempt to make the room reach 16c, not that the air is 16c. I placed a thermostat infront of the fan and reached 11c air breeze. On [LOW] setting it's actually quite strong and can feel the air from the other side of the room. The air coming out of the back wasn't even hot but that might be because it's mid-may and the unit isn't working at full capacity yet.Getting a room from 25c down to 19c took around an hour which is fairly decent.There's a slight gurgling watery sound which I presume is the collected water being recycled around the cooling coils at the back.===SECOND/THIRD USE===Kept the unit on for several hours on [COOL] and needed to change it over to [FAN] once or twice as the room got reasonably chilling.Leaving the door open meant the cold air was making it's way downstairs and the wife began to comment how chilly it was getting.I decided to drain it to see how much water came out after 3 days and there was a reasonable amount. A good pints worth of water.===SUMMARY===Very impressed to be honest. For the price at the time of purchase (399) you can a 4-1 unit that's at 12,000BTU, multiple window fixtures (even a through-wall fixture) and a remote control that has a screen on it.The instructions are brilliant and super easy to read. Setup was as simple as unboxing, plugging it in, sticking the hose exhaust hose out the window and turning it on.Very happy with this. It's powerful and I expect the 2022 summer is going to be a breeze!===ADDITIONAL===My first order came damaged in delivery. I contacted the seller and they provided same day support.They then sent out a replacement which came the following day.They were very apologetic, polite and their service was brilliant and swift.New unit was delivered in perfect condition and old unit was collected the next day.I felt reassured during the whole process and got courtesy calls to make sure I was happy and didn't experience any problems.
