The Best Horror Remake I have seen
Best movie of 2024, IMO. The cinematography and sets are incredible, they actually become characters inside the film. This is the best Horror remake I have seen. If the Coppola Dracula tale was the romantic, gothic epic, then this is it's polar opposite. This film is dark and without any hope or reconciliation for it's characters. Such a total work of art by Eggers. The 4k UHD only adds to the daunting atmosphere and the film's score is sinister. I highly recommend this film5 of 5 Stars

A phenominal movie
This is an exceptionally creepy movie. It is also addictive in the fact that you want to watch it over and over again so you can see things missed in the previous viewing. The atmosphere, the characters and the fact it is set in another place in time adds to the uncomfortable feeling. Count Orlock is pure evil and there's nothing redeeming about him. I absolutely recommend this if you want true horror ... not gore ... but that unsettling feeling that lasts for days.

Pretty Good
Pretty good except that they take away Ellen’s agency for most of the movie. In the original Nosferatu from 1922, Ellen defeats Orlock by herself. In this remake, she’s just a victim until the end of the movie when they remember she’s supposed to be the hero. On the other hand, Bill Skårsgard is one of the best versions of Dracula/Orlock ever. He’s the only actor to actually look like the description from Stoker’s novel.

Creepy! Spooky! Love it.
This is a great version of the Nosferatu story. I love Herzog's (my fave) but this...wow!...I liked it so much I had to buy it. This DVD has two versions of the film - regular version and extended version (epic). If you like good horror films and Nosferatu, this is a sure thing. Eggers has the charm.

Another Fine Piece for My Gothic Collection
Another beautiful piece to add to my physical media shelf. The film, a gothic tale with a more disturbing view of the tale of old vampires. While slow, the imagery and powerhouse performances offer an insanely good time. If you missed it in theaters, then getting it in this steelbook is the next best thing. Longevity compared to the typical plastic case and artwork that just pops better; a great buy! Always glad and thankful for physical media and that Amazon at least makes it easy to get.

Great movie
Watched the movie. Wow well done but there were a couple of scenes that reminded me of the Exorcist. A very creepy movie of the gothic type similar to the films Hammer used to put out. The vampire was definitely not Dracula nor the vampire of the silent film of 1922. He almost looked like someone's grandfather but his voice sent chills down your spine. The actors were all great and very professional. Definitely an R Rated movie not for the language because the language did not have any swear words but because of the graphic nature of many of the scenes. Overall a very well made very gothic creepy vampire movie that I think was more of a thinking person's movie than a real horror. The horror was there but it does not jump out at you like so many of today's horror movies. Watch both versions the theatrical and extended cut to get the overall feel of the characters and film. The sets were outstanding and the mood ominous.

A Classic Re-Invisioned
If you’re a classic horror fan, this is a great reboot. The Dolby Atmos sound and cinematography are reference level and clearly Oscar worthy. The acting and directing is excellent.
