Q: Does this set not come with the socket/wrench required to remove the old stems and install these new ones?

No they do not. The stems are also pretty long so o dont think theres long enough sockets to fit over them.

Q: Do the stems in this kit have the 18 splines?

They have 12 Spindles, not 18. We have a universal set B071VWQ8F5

Q: What size socket, would I need for these stems?

Instead of a socket wrench, why not use a crescent wrench, aka monkey wrench?
