4’’ PVC Heavy Duty Swivel Caster Wheels Lockable Ball Bearing 1200lbs (Set of 4) - Red

I purchased two sets of (4) wheels. These wheels are high quality and heavy duty! I did wish the locking step was just a smidge longer but this can be manipulated by moving the wheel closer to the edge.These wheels do not come with screws/hardware for attaching however, you can easily pick up a pack of specific/special screws to attach the wheels to your own unit. The screws were about $5 a pack for 15ct. Make sure the screw you pick up has a large enough head top that it doesn't go all the way through the base of the wheel. You can easily take one wheel to the hardware store and find the perfect screw that has both the right sized head and length you need to fit your project perfectly.(See attached photos.)I made two small cabinet storage units, one for my Drill Press and another for my router table. By adding the wheels I can now easily and effortlessly move each storage island around to a desired location. I have absolutely no doubt that these wheels can hold both the storage inside the cabinets and the weight of the heavy tool placed on top of each cabinet.(See attached pictures.)Update :5/13/20 Still going strong. No issues. These wheels have held up for years.

I needed a smaller bench for my garage (2' x 6') and wanted it to be mobile. These casters work great! I just roll the bench out and lock the casters and I have a solid work area. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that they not only locked the wheel but they lock the swivel also. No movement at all. Rock Solid.When I received them I noticed that they were a little longer than the width of the stock 4" x 4"s that I was using for legs and I was concerned that the small edge distance might eventually break out so I added some plywood reinforcements to the bottom of the posts.They were exactly what I needed. I got carried away and the finished bench was overkill but now I wonder why I didn't do this sooner. The bench has been very handy.These were well worth the money! I highly recommend them.

These caster wheels are great. It's been a long time , it seems,since a product I ordered was so superior to what I was expecting to arrive. The roller bearings are great - they swivel fine. there is no slack nor wobbling wheels. A+ The hard red whee material is solid .The 2 with wheel locks are tight and hold. I have a huge and very heavy 8' desk that I use in my shop as a work table I made some wooden slip on brackets attacked the wheels and them jacked up the desk and attached them to the side corners. Now I roll the desk out to work off of (while standing-(added height is perfect)) and roll out of the way when not needed. I am Very pleased .

Excellent product. I’m constructing a platform for an old porcelain metal top kitchen table to use as a rolling island. These casters absolutely filled the requirement, for easy rolling lockable casters. They were easy to install and the adjustable mounting holes are a plus. Service and delivery was outstanding with overnight one day Amazon Prime. Will use this seller again when this type of product is needed.

The casters are decent quality, they perform the function of holding the weight and rolling easily. The locking mechanism is strong and these worked fine on my table saw. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is considerable amount of "play" in the bearing surface between the top plate and the wheel hub which enables the table saw I used them on to vibrate when running, something I wanted to completely eliminate. For most applications this would be fine as the weight of the item would hold them down better. For the price they are suitable and work. Fast delivery and packaging was good.

Good heavy duty smooth action castors. I bought eight of these because I got the hair brain idea to make an 11 foot long base cabinet for the garage and I wanted to pull it away from the wall and make a 360 work bench. Once the base cabinet is filled with cans of paint, bondo, machine and woodworking tools, the weight on these castors is pretty impressive. The cabinet rolls effortlessly.

These replaced some HF "heavy duty" smaller casters that I had installed under a heavy workbench. Those self-destructed after not long, with moving the bench around, so I took a chance that these would work better.They do indeed -- they're higher quality in terms of materials, plus the larger diameter simply works better for this application. The locks are also instrumental for keeping the bench in place until I want to wheel it around for various purposes.These casters roll nicely, don't tear up when turning, and seem to have better bearings. No problems in a year of use.

Of the eight wheels I purchased one wheel is completely locked up. The others work fine, but that doesn’t really help. Now I have to remove everything from the workbench I built, put the workbench on its back, take the defective wheel off, put the new one on, return the defective wheel or get charged for it (since they can’t just send me a new one). So a return and a repurchase doesn’t really save me the cost of all the hassle. Don’t have time for it. Really disappointed in the quality of the locked up wheel and now I’m afraid of others locking up. I’d rather pay more to avoid all the hassle in the future. Disappointed in the quality of service from the company when I called. Amazon wants to send me 4 wheels and have 4 wheels sent back. So wasteful when you could just send one and we’d have called it good.
