His musical performance might not be perfect but he brings so much soul and passion to the music I never tire of listening and watching. It’s a fabulous sumptuous musical. Photography is very gorgeous as is Vanessa in the role of Guinevere. It’s camp too tho... a lot of the styling is pure 1960s as opposed to 1360s. But there are moments of genuine beauty and very moving performances from all. I personally love it.

SUCH A LOVELY FILM ,I HAVE JUST WATCHED IT THREE DAYS IN A ROW ,WONDERFUL LOVE STORY BUT SAD AS WELL .I WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT THAT RICHARD HARRIS COULD PLAY SUCH A SENSITIVE PART AND HE PLAYS IT MAGNIFICENTLY ,I HAVE NEVER BEEN A FAN OF HIS BUT HIS PERFOMANCE IN THIS FILM WON ME OVER. WONDERFUL ACTING.AND THE FACT THAT VANESSA REDGRAVE AND FRANCO NERO FELL IN LOVE WHILE MAKING THE FILM MAKES IT EVEN MORE SPECIAL. WONDERFUL MUSIC WONDERFUL LYRICS I COULD GO ON AND ON.

I first watched this at the cinema as a kid and became hooked on the Arthurian legends. If you can look past the 1960’s hair styles and makeup, the music, lyrics and acting still stand the test of time. Superb!

It arrived very quickly, and is a very good copy , I've always loved this musical and this Blu ray doesn't disappoint.

I'd not seen this for years, it's amazingly good entertainment. highly recommended. unfortunately films in a style like this won't be made anymore it seems the public has lost the ability to appreciate this type of thing.

and Franco Nero is a pleasure on the eyes. 👀
