Great card!
Title: PNY RTX 5090 – Powerhouse Performance Without the Noise or Heat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been running the PNY RTX 5090 for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say this is hands-down one of the most satisfying GPU purchases I’ve ever made. First off — the price. Given the insane performance this card delivers, PNY has done an outstanding job keeping it at a more reasonable price point compared to some competitors. It still isn’t “cheap” by any means (this is flagship tech, after all), but you’re truly getting top-tier performance per dollar here. Noise levels? Practically non-existent. One of my biggest gripes with high-end GPUs in the past has been coil whine, especially under high FPS loads. I’m happy to report that this card is completely silent in that regard. No high-pitched squeals, no distracting electronic chatter — just smooth, clean performance. Even during intense gaming sessions or stress testing, the fans stay whisper-quiet. Then there are the temperatures. This cooler design from PNY is absolutely on point. Under full load, my card rarely even brushes the mid-60°C range, and that’s in a mid-tower case with only moderate airflow. During lighter workloads or casual gaming, it often runs fan-stop mode entirely, meaning zero fan noise and super cool idle temps. The thermal performance here inspires confidence — no thermal throttling, no sudden spikes, just consistent, controlled cooling. Performance-wise, well… it’s an RTX 5090. Everything from 4K ultra settings to heavy AI workloads is handled effortlessly. Ray tracing is buttery smooth, frame generation is flawless, and DLSS performance is mind-blowing. Whether I’m gaming, rendering, or experimenting with AI models, the card simply chews through whatever I throw at it. For those curious about specifics, here are a few benchmarks I’ve run so far: Cyberpunk 2077 (4K, RT Overdrive + DLSS Quality): 145–160 FPS Baldur’s Gate 3 (4K Ultra): 200+ FPS Red Dead Redemption 2 (4K Ultra): 165 FPS 3DMark Time Spy Extreme: 25,400 score (stock) Stable Diffusion image generation: Lightning-fast rendering, even at massive resolutions. Overclocking is also rock-solid. I was able to push the core clock +180 MHz and memory +1200 MHz without any instability, with temperatures still staying in the safe range and zero additional noise. In short — PNY absolutely nailed it with the RTX 5090. Great value for the power, silent operation thanks to zero coil whine, and stellar thermal performance. If you’re looking for flagship performance without the annoyances that usually come with it, this card is a perfect choice. Highly recommended.

Top of the line
Great card. Tested with furmark and everything works as expected. No missing ROPs like some early 5090s. Lightning fast frame rates. Noise level is surprisingly good at full tilt, better than average for a card this size. Cooling seems good, but then I have a very large case with a lot of fans. Value for money is questionable: unless you need the extra VRAM, don’t get this card. An RTX 5080 is half the price and is only 7% slower according to passmark — but it has 16gb VRAM instead of 32gb on the 5090. So if you’re doing super-high-res/demanding/modded gaming (my use case), or 3D rendering, video editing, AI training/inference etc maybe the 5090 makes sense but for most people the 5080 or 5070 is a way better choice and better value for money. The package includes a power supply adapter but you need four eight pin PCIe cables coming from your power supply, so make sure your power supply can handle that and is big enough for a 600w card. Nvidia-smi shows it will hit the full 600w power draw. Probably want double that for your power supply. Obviously the card is huge but that’s to be expected. Measure your case and make sure it will fit. Main thing to be wary of is the power connection location - it’s on top of the card, so you need enough depth in your case so you can hook up the power cable to the card and still get the case lid/door back on. A lot of older/other cards will have the power connection on the end of the card instead, but this one is on top. The power adapter they give you is pretty flexible but still I’d recommend a minimum of 3/4 inch (15-20mm) of clearance between the card’s power port and your case lid/door so that you can actually plug the card in and still get the door closed.

Amazing for AI Tasks
Super performant for AI tasks. I am using this card primary for local ai models from hugginface. The memory bandwidth is amazing fast. Perfect for Qwen embedding, STT, TTS, Image and Video generation.

Best GPU in the market.
The best GPU among others 5090s. I have the PNY OC edition. It is expensive and I won't say it is worth every penny. But, it runs everything you throw at it, and you can OC even more. RGB and design is neat.

Defective used prodcut
This is NOT a new unit!! The product came with LPN label which indicate it is an used item. And the GPU core is missing from the product.

What a beast!
Absolutely insane performance and I’m so glad I got one for only 200 over msrp.

Great graphics card
Works perfectly including the RGB. Very fast card with the required rops. No issues thus far. Electrical connection seems solid. I would recommend this graphics card. One of the lower priced 5090 RTX cards. Graphics are terrific.

This thing rocks 30% faster than my 4090 man very happy with my purchase.

I never owned PNY GPUs, having said that the promise of an Optimus Block and the price attracted me to this manufacturer. Outside of not having a dual BIOS this is a decent no frills card with a really good cooler. I have this on a water block, but I ran this for a month on air with the stock cooler. Surprisingly it ran fairly quiet at full load. In hind sight maybe I didn't need the water block, but I have a full loop so might as well. The noise difference between stock air and my radiator fans was very minimal. My radiator is running the 12p Pro fans from Arctic. Dual BIOS would have been nice, other cards at this price point have them, but looking at PNY I don't think any of their cards have dual BIOS. Something maybe they should consider. I wouldn't mount this card without a vertical GPU bracket, if this is the route you will take you also will need a PCIe 5.0 riser cable. I say need but take that with a grain of salt. You can drop your PCIe to Gen 4 in the BIOS with a gen 4 cable and your card will still work. If you use a 4.0 riser cable and you leave PCIe on Auto in the BIOS you will get WHEA errors in windows and potentially some random crashes. So plan accordingly. Other than that solid minimalist packaging, itcomes with a anti sag bracket and instruction manual.

So far so good

Świetna karta. Cewki ciche, temperatury niskie, a do wentyli spokojnie można się przyzwyczaić. Stonowane RGB. Ogólnie to bardzo wysoki poziom jakości jak na PNY. Polecam

The price on this suddenly dropped to $2858 CAD so I grabbed one. I use this for work doing renders in Daz Studio. So far, I haven't had any issues with it and it's blazing fast. 32gb is so nice to have so I can make my 3D scenes as full and complex as I want and the renders never run out of vram, such a nice upgrade from the 4090. I can't comment on the gaming performance because I don't use it for that. It's not overly loud and it reaches maybe 60 degrees Celsius at full load. For gaming at max settings 4k it would probably get a bit hotter though. Overall I'm glad I have it and it saves me a lot of time for work when rendering hundreds of animations and images per month. Having said all this, if I didn't use it for work I wouldn't buy this in a million years, even at $2858 CAD it's insanely expensive just for playing games, but hey that's my opinion, so to each their own.
