I went to Peet's Coffee and had a Sugar Free Mocha and it was so good I had to find out what they used so I could make it at home! Their bottle said Peet's but all the other syrups said Monin so I gave it a shot...if this isn't it, it's the best tasting imposter you will ever try!Most SF mocha's have a background "grittiness" that is hard to describe but definitely there. This sauce has none of that and the dark chocolate keeps it from getting too sweet. I am very particular about the SF products since most have a strange "wang" to them (McDonald's and Peet's included) BUT this sauce doesn't! So now I am set: Monin SF Sauce and a bottle of SF Vanilla from Starbucks and my mocha/latte experience at home is the best it can be (since I am NOT a barista).My daughters also use this over ice cream. The sundae doesn't get overly sweet and it is addicting!A warning, this is Sugar Free NOT calorie Free. I'm on a keto diet, and I wish I'd read more about this product before purchasing it and discovering you can't return it (even unopened). The main ingredient is maltitol syrup, and maltitol has a very high glycemic index compared to other sugar alcohols. It can kick you out of ketosis pretty easily. Now I've got 6 bottles of the stuff that I can't get rid of, and can't resell anywhere.

I purchased this six-pack about a month ago, and my household has already gone through three bottles. It's THAT good. I was worried I wasn't going to be able to use up all this stuff by the expiration date (which is surprisingly short, I think the pack I got was good for seven months unopened)...but I was totally wrong. This will be gone in three months, if that!We use it a lot in coffee (with half-and-half, this becomes a low-carb dieter's dream), but also put this on sugar-free coconut milk ice cream (one roommate is lactose-intolerant). I haven't had any negative side effects, but you should note that maltitol consumed in large quantities can cause...uh...gastrointestinal distress.I really don't feel that there's a problem with this sauce, as it's so rich that a tablespoon or so per 12oz coffee is plenty. Add a packet of sucralose for that added sweet kick, and it's perfection.

It is delicious but very difficult to get out of the container.

I read a lot of reviews before I ordered this. I ordered it yesterday afternoon (10-10-12) it arrived around 9:30 today (10-11-12)!!! Totally amazed at the speed of delivery. Even more amazing is the taste of this. You totally can not tell it is sugar free and the dark chocolate flavor is spot on. It is really really good in hot coffee - I can't wait to try it in iced coffee! Thanks Monin and Amazon! PS: our office staff loves it too, I think I better order another six pack while I am online ;)

I have Type 1 diabetes so am very aware of carb counts. This syrup has 14 grams of carb in 1 tablespoon (1/2 oz). Be aware of this if you have diabetes or follow a low carb or ketogenic diet. For me. maltitol really spikes my blood sugar, just like regular sugar. Maltitol can also cause some unfortunate gastro-intestinal issues in many people.You will actually get fewer carbs from a bottle of Monin regular dark chocolate syrup, and with fewer strange ingredients as well.

This is incredible sugar-free syrup! My daughter-in-law would argue it’s better than its sister, regular Monin Choc. Syrup. I usually buy in the 6-pack, much cheaper however it’s not available now. You can also buy in the big container. Thick, chocolaty, yumminess for you daily mocha!!!
