Perfect fit for my FITCAMX integrated dash cam. It dramatically increased the video/image quality, and was a great price. Includes 3M sticker to adhere to camera. Great quality.

It definitely helps! And yes, just peel the sticky tape off (and it can be a pain to get the paper side off the tape), apply to camera, then turn until you lose any reflection. It works. I was able to spin it around and find it works better in certain positions than others. Just tune it and it's good! Have not tried at night. Only during day and it works great.

This polarizing filter is a must-have for the FITCAMX dashcam. Once installed, you can rotate the filter while viewing the camera image in the app on your phone to set it to the optimal polarizing effect. It mostly eliminates the reflections from the windshield. My only worry is that it uses double-sided tape to attach to the FITCAMX. Time will tell if the adhesive stays strong with intense summer heat.

Easy to install (easier if you do it before installing the camera). Clears up day time dash reflections without having a huge effect on night time brightness or clarity.

Works very well. But it should have been included with the unit to be honest. Without it, you'll get that glare from the sun. The adhesive backing was difficult to remove, possible that it was sitting in a warehouse and dried out.

I just installed a Fitcamx in my wife's 2021 Honda Odyssey. What we saw was a huge reflection of the dashboard into the camera picture. It really interfered with the quality of the images captured. By using the polarizing filter, it makes a tremendous improvement in the quality of the video captured. A polarizing filter should really be standard equipment and not a required accessory. Be careful about which filter to order for your Fitcamx. There are several models of filter and you just want to have the one for your particular camera model. I emailed the Fitcamx support team and they told me that this was the correct part to use with our 2021 Odyssey Fitcamx. Unfortunately, they don't make a filter for my 2025 Honda CRV Fitcamx. I've attached before and after photos so you can see the improvement from the filter.

This thing works surprisingly well. It is a polarizer as well as a slight ND filter. The BEFORE and AFTER shows the reflections of the dash on the windshield get reduced greatly when you find the correct orientation of the lens. Both the BEFORE and AFTER pictures were direct sunlight, but due to the lens having a slight shade color to it, it does make it look like a cloud was covering the light. Installation was super simple, just remove the adhesive cover and press it over the camera lens of the dashcam. the plastic molding around the camera will align it properly to be nice and center. I mainly wanted to write this review so if anyone searches the keywords to see if it fits the Toyota RAV4 FITCAMX camera, hopefully this helps out. One of the other reviews shows rainbow coloring in the picture, but that is caused by the windshield itself and not the polarizing filter.

Great product and helps to reduce the glare. Definitely recommend to get a better quality video recording.
