These plates are very nice, I was afraid like with all black ceramic things that they would get a lot of scratches in them after some use. However, we have had these for about 9 months and use them everyday and they are in great shape. They haven't chipped or scratched. We use steak knives on them all the time. They also are matte so they kinda have a stone look, which makes them look more luxury.

You cannot beat the value on these. I bought about 30 for my restaurant and they have a great look and feel. They are thinner to the ones I often buy but they cost 5 times as much, and I'm a firm believer that a $10 plate and a $45 plate smash the sane when a server drops or slams it. I will say that they are all varying shades of color so if your looking for perfection do not purchase these, they are handmade and have some cosmetic flaws in the glaze and scratches. They were acceptable for me.

The style of the plates are exactly what I was looking for.

Love the aesthetic but they get so hot and crack after being microwaved. I like the weight but not as durable as I would have expected. I like how they stack on each other.

I'm not sure why some of us are experiencing problems when microwaving with these plates and others are not. I saw some cracks in the finish (not the plate itself) after microwaving a potato. I'll be honest, I only chose this brand because there was limited availability of affordable inexpensive plates around last Christmas. So I've had them about 9 months. I do like them. I think the color is attractive, and for some dishes it's nice to have that high edge around to keep sauces on the plate. I paid more than I would have liked, and I'm not overwhelmingly pleased. But they are sturdy plates, they are pretty nice looking, and they do the job.

Really nice, everything I was hoping for. The lip is just enough to do the job without being too tall.

These are so beautiful and well made. Used them this Christmas for my dinner set up and for tonnes of compliments! They look so expensive. Would definitely buy more and would highly recommend. Just pay attention to the size. I mistakenly purchased the smaller plates and had to return them. Got the bigger size and they were perfect!

It is exactly as advertised. I bought this set several years and I still have them. None have cracked or broken and are dishwasher friendly.
