I have made all the curtains in our house except two pairs in the bedrooms, these ones having been moved from another house. I read all the reviews on here and decided to just go for it and buy two pairs. I was really pleased with the quality when I opened the packets - the orange label problem has been resolved - and the curtains are really well made and neatly hemmed at the bottom and side seams. I love the weight of them - quite light so they are not too bulky and heavy when added to the main curtains. Didn’t think I would be too keen on the silver finish but it’s actually very pale and quite pretty. Not dark grey like some. Although my curtains are lined, the linings are very thin and quite frankly cheap. I wish I had bought these new linings years ago - they have absolutely transformed them. Not only do they black out the sunlight, but they have restored the beautiful deep plum colour which was completely lost with weak sun shining through them. Also, it was only after I had hung the first pair that I read the instructions (!) and found a different way to attach them to the curtains. Instead of gathering and just adding hooks and hanging them on the curtain tape, you use the hook to go though both fabrics and then kind of fold it over to ‘lock’ the lining in place. Brilliant! I thought I knew all there was to know about curtains. Wrong! Anyway, I can’t recommend these highly enough and of course tremendous value for money.

Excellent black out curtains. Was worried that it would be that silver plastic material, but lovely soft off white, so very happy. Instructions on packaging shows to hook at the top, but you can't as the curtain hooks have to go there. Also says to just clip the hooks over the blackout lining (see photo) . This might work for shorter curtains, but just fell down after a couple of weeks. So I hooked it into the blackout curtains instead and this worked. There is a small turn up at the bottom in case you need a couple of extra cms.

Good cheap blackout curtains. Easy to fit, competitively priced and should last.

I am a shift worker. I've recently moved and will eventually get a fitted light excluding blind in my bedroom but in the interim I needed to be able to live with curtains I had. These are a cost effective solution that work great. They have transformed my curtains. very easy to install using the provided hooks, although as others have said I didn't fit as per the instructions but hooked up from the bottom.

These are good quality. Thick but not too heavy to hang. Easy to hang if you follow your instincts rather than the instructions! Look good in the window too.I was struggling to get one particular room above 16 degrees even with the heating on. After hanging these, the temperature has risen by at least 2 degrees. There is also much less condensation on the window in a morning.I'm impressed with them and I'll be ordering more.

Curtains are fine and neatly finished, though I hadn't realised that they can't be washed or dry cleaned, and the heading tape was not the usual type you can gather, but it was easily replaced.
