Propper vs. TRU-SPEC
I like these pants. I bought one pair of these and one pair of the TRU-SPEC Ploy, cotton, ripstop. Same size. Both are good pants. There are a few differences. The Propper's are tapered towards the ankle so there a tighter look to them. The TRU-SPEC's were baggier at the ankle. The Propper brand is also tighter in the seat and crotch area, not uncomfortanble but the TRU-SPEC are noticebly baggier there as well. The material on the TRU-SPEC's is a slightly softer but I wouldn't say the Propper's are rough. Because of TRU-SPECs bagginess and softness, I think the Proppers look crisper. Both have held up well for the last 2 months.Additional note: It has been 4 months of wearing these both pairs interchangeably with regular washings. They both look to be in the same shape as before. I have noticed on both pairs the cuffs by the ankle have dragged on the ground at some point and have become scraped up and threaded. I do not use the ties on the cuffs and removed the ties early on. The scrapes seem more so on the TRU-SPECs and that would be expected since they are looser. I am also not using boots with either of these so that more than likely is the reason.8 month update: So far so good still. Both are holding up well and I used them everyday. 3 things that I noticed. 1: the top button of the TRU-SPECs popped off about 2 months ago. I could resew it but have been lazy and just tighten my belt over it. 2: Both pairs have side cinches that will tighten the pant's waist in place of or in assistance with a belt. The Tru-Specs hold in place but the Proppers uncinch if I squat. Speaking of squatting, 3: the other day I was doing yard work and it wasn't bad when I began but became humid as the day progressed. When I squatted in the Proppers it was very tight around the knee and leg area because of the sweat. I assume it its because the proppers are not as baggy as the Tru-specs. I have not worn the Tru-specs and squatted in them while sweating so I cannot compare.Additional note on these only: I think you are supposed to unbutton the fly all the way before you wash them. I usually only undo the first 3 and now the fourth button has started to imprint on the front of the fly.

Heads up on Sizing
Okay, so I went out on a limb here and ordered the XLR size. I was wondering if waist sizes here were "actual" or "vanity" sizes. They are 100% actual sizes. On something like Wrangler, Carhartt or 7FAMK I normally wear a 38x30. XLR fit okay in the waist, I had like 2 extra fingers width left over. HOWEVER, THESE PANTS ARE HUGE EVERYWHERE ELSE! They fit way bigger than any "Relaxed" or "Athletic" pants I've worn. The legs are big enough to fit a bear! And are also way too long! The "reinforced knees" fit right under where my knees end!I guess that's how BDUs are supposed to fit?Another small complaint about these pants is that the buttons for the fly and the pockets are impossible to open up when you need to open them! The slit is stiff and the button is too wide. The overall stitching and materials seem okay. I guess these pants were just not for me.

Crotch hangs WAY low.
The crotch is EXTREMELY long on these. So much that to get it where it should be I have to pull them several inches above where my pants normally ride.I wore medium-regular BDU's back in the day. I'm 5'9" 160 lbs (then and now) and they (Military BDU's) fit great. These.....not so much. The materially appears to be durable. Wearing them around the house they are noisy. Hunting pants I think not. Was hoping they'd be close to Military BDU-type pants.Not. Waist-cinching strap and belt loops are wimpy. Will update after several wearings and washings but I'm not hopeful.Update. I've washed and worn these half a dozen times, have not softened up. As for the crotch it still hangs WAY low. I like the material and the design, just wish they fit better.

Not for me
Good quality, but they're definitely too small, They buttoned up and zipped up, but felt far too tight in the thigh and inseam region. I could tell that the first time I crouched, slid, or extended my leg upwards too far while climbing, the inseam would blow out and rip.I've had this issue with Propper BDU pants forever, figured I'd try and take a stab at them once more, but it appears I have the same issues as always. They're BDU tops work for me perfectly, but the pants just aren't for me apparently.Rotcho and some times Tru-Spec BDU's seem to work best for me.

WONDER IF THESE WERE FACTORY REJECTS
Before putting these one for the first time I could immediately tell something wasn't right. In my 20 years in the military I have never received BDU trousers that had so much extra material in the legs and seat. These were beyond what could be reasonably considered relaxed fit or baggy. The waist size was way off as well, 2 more extra inches of room than needed making the waist cinch straps useless. There's a good possibility these were factory rejects PROPPER thought they could sneak through on Amazon.

Sand colour Propper BDU trousers
Very good quality and grade. The listing was not clear which fabric they were so I asked specifically for rip-stop cotton and that is what I received. The rip-stop cotton is very thin and high density, just what you want in hot weather.I have worn these trousers before and the fabric is excellent.Tru-Spec rip-stop cotton is not as thin and high density as Propper rip-stop cotton so it is not as good in hot weather, also Tru-Spec rip-stop cotton feels itchy for a few months, after repeated wearing and washing it doesn't feel itchy. After testing the rip-stop cotton fabric in the tropics, including in Vietnam where the BDU uniform was developed, I can say the rip-stop cotton performs well. I also tested the rip-stop polycotton known as 'Battlerip', but due to being thicker and lower density than the rip-stop cotton the 'Battlerip' was too warm and actually dried slower than the rip-stop cotton, it is also not wind resistant like the rip-stop cotton. 'Battlerip' is not good at absorbing sweat being 65% polyester. The trousers are the correct BDU design and fit. BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) was originally the US Woodland camouflaged fatigues that were used by the United States Armed Forces.Khaki is actually Sand colour.

The best pants I've ever bought
I've been buying these pants for work (security) because all of my issued uniform pants have not been durable enough. Propper BDU pants have stood up to everything I could throw at them: climbing, crawling, running, harsh weather, repeated washing, and just hard daily wear. The most repair work they've needed was having the occasional button replaced. I recommend them to everyone I work with, and I can't say enough good things about them. If the zombie apocalypse was happening outside, I'd be putting on these pants as I went out the door.

Really long for someone’s who 6ft
I should have bought an xl oh well they are long and I am 6ft tall so long that I walk on the pant leg. It’s a button fly with large pockets that also buttoned up. They keep me warm with it being winter and usually all the other pants I have bring a draft and these don’t. I will hopefully have some more money to buy an xl next time maybe a different pattern.

The order changes how it sees fit
Order was messed up after size was selected. I selected black as i needed them for work as uniform pants. So i selected black and apparently when i chose the size it took it upon itself to change the color. So when i opened the package to wear them low and behold they were grey so needless to say I was not impressed.

Material is thick
Product is made of quality and fits perfect at the bottom of the pants you can tie them up high if you are wearing boots or you can tie them low if you are wearing sneakers

Love these! My waist is 26in (hips 36in) and I bought an XS. The rise is pretty long and the waist is adjustable so they fit high waisted. Also way cheaper than other similar styles at UO or Ariztia. For those with similar measurements as mine, if you want a looser fit in the hip area I’d recommend getting a S.

Very comfortable, I got a pair of size XXL's which fit my 46" waist very well, with plenty of room in the thigh. The ankles can be cinched closed, and the waistband has elastics that can be tightened or loosened. If you'll be wearing these in the cold, I would definitely recommend wearing a pair of long johns underneath.

Excelentes.
Gratamente sorprendido que son casi en un 90% exactamente iguales a pantalones de uso militar. Súper cómodos y quedan a la perfección. Quizá puedan parecer un poco holgados de la entrepierna, pero asi es el corte.

It fits as described. Buttons up front instead of zipper
It fits . Suprised by the buttons instead of zipper that I prefer at the front and I find the string at the bottom of the pants weird.

Excelente prenda y precio
Me gustó mucho el color, lo conseguí en 250 MXN lo cual es un excelente precio por un pantalón super resistente que puede ser usado tranquilamente como pantalón de vestir

Good materials, sizing feels off
Pants are made of good material and feel relatively well made. They are way too large at the waist however for a 33 inch waist. I also feel as though they are shorter than advertised. Overall, not very satisfied by the fit.
