I recently purchased the Converse Run Star Hike Platform Trainers, and I must say I'm thoroughly disappointed. These shoes are a complete letdown from the brand I once admired.Firstly, the platform design looks utterly ridiculous in person. It's as if I'm wearing two mini-skateboards on my feet, and the exaggerated sole throws off the entire aesthetic. Not to mention, walking in these feels like trying to navigate through a minefield – uncomfortable and awkward.The quality is abysmal. The stitching looks like it was done by a child with shaky hands, and the overall construction feels cheap and flimsy. I've worn them for just a short while, and the so-called "premium" materials are already showing signs of wear and tear.Don't even get me started on comfort. The cushioning is practically nonexistent, and it's as if I'm walking on a wooden plank. My feet ache after just a few minutes of wear, which is completely unacceptable for a pair of shoes at this price point.Converse, you've truly missed the mark with the Run Star Hike Platform Trainers. These shoes are a prime example of style over substance, and I regret spending my hard-earned money on them. I promptly returned them for a refund, and I'll be avoiding this design disaster in the future, sticking to Converse's classic, more reliable options.
