I bought this portable air cooler not expecting too much, but I’ve honestly been pleasantly surprised. It’s super easy to use—just add some water and ice, and within minutes, you can feel the difference in the air. It’s not a full-blown AC, of course, but it definitely cools down a small room or personal space nicely.The fan has a few speed settings, which is great depending on how warm it is, and I love that it also works as a humidifier—it helps a ton with the dry air we get from running the central AC all day. The adjustable night lights are a really nice touch too. I didn’t think I’d care about that feature, but it’s actually kind of soothing to have a soft glow at night, especially with all the color options.It’s compact, quiet, and doesn’t take up much space on my nightstand. This is a such a compact, portable, super versatile and efficient fan/cooler, perfect for bedrooms, offices, or small spaces. It's got dual motors, three speeds, and even three mist modes so you can customize the cooling. Fans are very quiet and the airflow is really good. Plus, it has a cool night light! It comes with physical button to operate, however, the remote and timer make it a breeze to use. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a compact cooler.

The fan looks nice and as far as I can tell all components work as designed… but the cooling effect is: zero. I live in a very dry climate and used the device in a small bedroom, and also used a thermometer to see if there is any cooling effect, and there is none. So if you want a fancy fan then this is your product, but if you want a cooling device, this is not it.

But don't mistake this or any other "swamp cooler" type product for a real air conditioner. Even filled with ice/ice water it doesn't cool a room very effectively if at all. In fact, whatever cooling that occurs is offset by the increased humidity.That said, I've owned a few of these things over the years and this is by far the best. The fan is quite large and powerful, so it creates a nice breeze though it is fairly loud at the highest speed. The controls are logical and even the remote has proven to be useful, allowing one or two button presses to do the work of several if using the controls on the unit itself. The lighting is a fun bonus, easily changed to your favorite provided shade or turned off entirely.My only complaint would be the water reservoir, which is non-removable as far as I can tell, and there's no way to tell how full it is other than removing its cap and checking manually. You have to grab the whole device if you need to empty it, and the cap (which turns the "wrong" way) is rather small, making adding ice more challenging than it could be. It would be great if the reservoir was removable so you could refrigerate its contents, maybe even having a spare that's always in reserve, cooling in the fridge.But for the price, and especially compared to others in the swamp cooler category, this one is about as good as it gets. A side benefit is that it can act as a humidifier during the cold weather months, putting less junk into the air than a real humidifier (those cause my air purifier to work much harder). Recommended, just don't expect it to be a true air conditioner...

Pure garbage the worst thing I ever bought on amazon but I used it and filled it with water so I can't replace or return it
