Another outstanding Curt product. The hitch fits perfectly on my 2022 Toyota Rav4 LE. Installation was about thirty minutes with no assistance from anyone. Also it's Made in The U.S.A. HELL YEAH!!!Highly recommend buying a 19mm ratcheting wrench for the installation.

This hitch fit our 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime with no complications. Finish quality is excellent and the instructions were very clear about how to prepare the frame (have to remove plastic covers from the RAV4 tapped holes) and even provided explicit torque specifications. The only thing not listed in the instructions was that you need to remove the rear tow hook before installing the hitch. It will be obvious once you look under your RAV4 and it is held with only two bolts that were easy to remove.Overall I think it took me just 45 minutes to install the unit, doing it myself without assistance.The only caveat I will offer is that the receiver will be positioned rather low compared to most Class III hitches I've worked with in the past. Check your trailer's suggested tow height and make sure you get the correctly elevated receiver. In our case a 6" rise was needed.

Fit on my 2025 Rav 4 perfectly,Install was straightforward using the propper tools. Solid and well built hitch.

I installed this Curt hitch receiver on our 2025 Toyota RAV4 Limited. I watched a couple videos on installing it before I started. They were helpful. The instructions included with the product and the videos all said you need to lower the muffler. I was able to install it without lowering the muffler. It is a tight squeeze but it worked. There is enough clearance under the RAV4 that I did not need to use ramps or anything else. The hitch receiver is a bit heavy but manageable. I installed by myself using a couple of small floor jacks to lift one side while trying to.align the holes. . Without those, I would have needed a second person. The install simply requires the included 4 bolts and washers. The holes matched up perfectly with the pre drilled and threaded holes. The alignment needs to be just right to get the bolts started. The bolts on the drivers side are easy to get to with a socket wrench and torque wrench. On the passenger side the space is too tight for anything but a regular wrench. Since I couldn’t get a torque wrench into the space, I had to just crank on the wrench until it thought it was probably good enough. The installation took me about an hour, including time spent watching a couple of how-to videos. We just plan to use it for attaching a bike rack, so I didn’t bother installing trailer wiring to go with this hitch receiver.

Hitch arrived early with all hardware and instructions. Inspection showed a few scratches that made me realize it evidently had been returned before. No big deal to me, it's going to get worn from use. Directions stated a 19mm wrench was required for the enclosed bolts, which I did not have. However a 3\4 wrench worked perfectly as there is only a .002 difference in the two. Had to tip the end away from the receiver up to clear the exhaust. I then balanced the hitch on my floor jack and raised it to where I could get the passenger side bolts started. I had read in other reviews to start there because of tight clearance. Hard to see if the bolt hole was lined up, so it took a few minutes to get both bolts in. Then moved to drivers side and started those. Tightened them up and it fit perfectly. Took 45 minutes

How difficult could a single piece of metal and 4 bolts be to install? Well, don't try it by yourself unless you want a broken nose or worse. No, really, this thing is built like a tank and very heavy. Even with a helper, we still needed to break out the bottle jack to get it lined up properly. On my 2019 RAV4, getting this hitch lined up and the bolts started was tough. There's very little room to maneuver on the passenger side. However, once you do get it mounted, it's rock solid and tucks up pretty well.

If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I’ve installed several hitches on different cars before, but this has to be the easiest. Took me less than 30 minutes working by myself with a floorjack to lift the hitch into position. Remove the bracket used to anchor the car when transporting (two bolts), four bolts into welded nuts in the frame and done. The hitch lined up perfectly. There wasn’t much clearance for the right-side bolts, but that’s due to the car design, not the hitch. It was just a little more difficult on that side. This was installed on a 2025 Toyota RAV4 plug-in hybrid. The receiver is just below the bumper, it couldn’t be any higher without contacting. Perfect fit.

Solid construction. Made very well. Fits perfectly my 2023 Lexus NX450H+I would add some welds from both sides, but for bicycle rack is great.
