These caster cups are solid wood. We didn't use them for their intended purpose though, as we peeled off the rubber like foam backing and attached 4" adhesive felt sliders. We just installed new hardwood flooring where the piano is so we had to move the piano out of the room and back in without gouging the floors.The only reason I mention all this is that while sliding the piano on these cups, the edges got slightly dinged up. I would have preferred a deeper, less rounded cup for the casters to sit in, but we didn't use the product as advertised and the caster didn't jump off the cups. .

These work as stated but the finish has worn off within the first few days. We’ve only readjusted it to center it on the new floor. They do their job but will need to use a sharpie to color over the scratches.

I ordered these for our piano at our church because of complaints that the piano without any coasters was ruining the new laminate floor. Hopefully, these will do the job. The piano is a beautiful antique piano that we have had for years and years.Pleased with the look of the coasters and they way they fit under the piano.

I was disappointed they aren't actually hardwood. While still sturdy, I was hoping for wood over a plastic polymer of some sort. But, they get the job done. Nice color.

These are plastic, so I worried they would not be strong enough to support my spinet piano, but they work great!
