I am not a scarf guy. I got a Japanese hanten jacket which ties in the front without any overlap, so there is a strip of my front that is exposed, as well as my arms below the end of the 3/4 sleeves. This scarf folded in half lengthwise and crossed across my body under the hanten keeps my belly warn enough for short, 10-minute, trips outside down to 40F which is when I need something warmer anyway. I like the Mondrian/Frank Lloyd Wright-like pattern. I don't know what it is actually made of--no label with contents, country of manufacture ( so it must not be China), company name, or care instructions--but I don't find it itchy. ⭐⭐⭐ is my base rating for a product which is fully functional and fulfills its promises
