Wonderful product
I actually use these on my back porch, and they catch everything including the carpenter bees. I buy them ever year! I do have to get my own ties to be able to tie them where needed, they don't come with that.

Still catching flies after 10 months
These pleasantly colorful sticky traps to catch flies are still catching flies after being in my window sill 10 months. In the summer, I use a pair of long tweezers and pull off the dead flies over a trash can and then put the traps back onto my window sills. I can tell they are still working because I will hear the buzz of a stuck fly when it lands on one of these traps. I am reordering more today and have recommended them to people who have visited my home. These work much better than UV zappers. These even catch other insect as well, but mainly flies. I can easily recommend these fly traps.

Easy to use and VERY effective
This is the 2nd year I am using these fly traps (Outdoors) - THEY WORK GREAT!!! We routinely have flies every year - some years are worse than others. Last year (2024) was average but flies were still a big nuisance - until I started using these fly traps. I hang one on each end of our patio and just lay one on top of our trash bin. The ones hanging on the patio work for several weeks but the one on the trash bin fills up in a few days. So full there is scarcely an open area for them to land. I just pop it into the trash bin and lay out another. VERY Effective!

Excellent In chicken coop
Update: These worked excellent in my chicken coop! Not near as well in my house though! Naturally there’s more flies in the coop! I’ve read adding a little tuna fish or anything else that a little stinky to these traps can also help a lot. I’m going to try that next on the ones in the house since the flies in the house don’t seem to interested in landing on the trap? I also like these have a loop on both ends for hanging the trap horizontally if you want.. so they don’t have to hang down so low and you can put a little stinky stuff on the top of the trap this way to attract the flies and other bugs more! I was really impressed with these in my coop though! The traps are literally covered in stuck flies! Hanging them horizontally close to the ceiling of the coop also helps with the chickens not getting stuck accidentally to the traps! I hated having to chase a chicken down that was dragging a trap stuck to its behind every so often. Hasn’t happened since I started using these traps turn horizontally! That’s a big plus for the coop! These are larger then the ones I bought at our retail store, but I don’t believe they’re as sticky as the store bought ones I have used in the past?I have them hanging in my chickens coop, so I will see how well the flies and other flying insects stick to these? I’m hoping there stickier then I think! I’ll update my review if these work better than I expect them to! Other thing with these is they have a plastic pull out ring on both ends. This could be handy if you wanted to hang the tubes vertically rather then hanging them straight down. But either way you’re going to need your own hook or hooks to hang these from. Store bought ones had a string with a hook on the end that’s easier to hang then these are unless you add your own small string with a hook or loop first before hanging them!

Shop around
I was excited to try these as am trying to make my patio outdoor pool area more pleasant. Flys are unpleasant so doing all the normal things like keeping all trash cans with lids on and I still get Flys in spring and summer. Started with fly strips hung up in 7 or 8 places then saw these things. These are not effective for me. The company that makes the bright yellow ones with black dots are awesome. Price does not matter with this stuff, you want ones that work! I bought an 8 pack and am using all now. Will not reorder.

Three flies landed on it WHILE IT WAS STILL IN MY HAND..!!
This design is amazing!!!For whatever reason, our lovely home in forested hills has had some flies hanging around outside since before we bought it, and sometimes they sneak inside as we (and our kiddo and dogs) go in and out all day – especially during the summer. We ended up with quite a problem at one point, and (stinky) outdoor bait traps helped but we still had so many inside (grrr and yuck..).Inside, we tried the tapes that unroll and clear sticky rectangles, which caught some but not enough! We got super-proficient with this little electrified tennis racket thing, but it’s just aggravating after a while and makes you feel fairly ridiculous, like the flies are getting smarter and might win eventually. lolI avoided trying this style because it looks so big and bulky, and I worried that it would be such a waste of plastic, but it’s not nearly as environmentally wasteful as I initially worried either! Only the top and bottom are thin pieces of plastic (which I hope might be recyclable when I take it apart at the its end) - the rest seems to be paperboard/cardboard-based.I finally broke down and tried this during the aforementioned period of “quite a problem”…And oh. my. gawd. I’m not kidding that one landed on the thing while I was just casually, holding it in mid-air, when these things usually can hardly be hit by the tennis racket swatter when we’re trying!! That seemed amazing, so I held it out near a couple others in a window, and they flippin’ landed on it within a minute, too!!! Just putting one out one afternoon and another at the other end our house the next morning made it seem like almost every fly had literally been sucked from the air within about a day.I left one sitting mostly out of sight (but in sight of flies) by our can and bottle recyling and the other by our guinea pig’s cage because they’re attracted to those smells, and I can’t get over the relief I feel! I still sometimes see that a fly or two snuck inside and feel my old sense of “ugh..” at what that used to mean, and now it takes me a while to notice pretty soon I simply don’t see those flies anymore – they found this thing!! I’ve had two out for two months and they still seem to work just great. I’m sold! 10/10. Highly recommend!
