This product is applied and on completion you can rinse off - leaving no residue, using a small tooth brush for grooves you can clean up without leaving residue.

can this be used on a PVD plated copper sink/plug guard ?

We are not sure, they say soapy water and soft cloth for PVD items - so perhaps not.
